“Fabulous, but you may want to eat before you go”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

Tappas are great, but unless you plan on ordering lots, you may leave a little hungry. It is a little pricey, but the restaurant boasts these amazing wooden doors and the patio is fabulous to be on during the summer!

Atmosphere was relaxing, but I would suggest eating a snack before you go to hold you over.

“Smaller was definitely BETTER”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

After reading about Segovia on Trip Advisor, I decided to surprise my fiance with a dinner date to Segovia. We arrived about 7pm to a full house and waited about 10 minutes to be seated at the bar facing the chef, his assistant and open kitchen. The staff was super friendly and our waitress explained how the Tapas Bar ran. We had the best seats as we were able to view a variety of dishes being prepared for others. Make sure you ask your waiter/waitress what the dishes are as the menu doesn't come in ordinary writeups. We had 4 sperate dishes (ALL FABULOUS) and a tasty bottle of merlot wine. This was an excellent choice and my fiance couldn't stop talking about the evening after we left. We are seasoned (over 60) and quite enjoyed the whole experience.

“Great Experience”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

What a cool experience Segovia was. EVERY dish we tried was great, and so was every cocktail. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and I love that you can order from a huge variety of sharing plates, and get to try so many different items. Drinks were also great, but a little pricey for my non-discerning taste buds (if you're a cocktail connoisseur you may appreciate them more). The bill was actually less than I had expected. Although they suggest 3-5 plates/2 people, I would not recommend less than 4.
Get there early, or be prepared to wait a long time for a table.

“Fabulous restaurant!”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

The food here is fabulous!!! If there are any downsides, they are: 1) Segovia is a tapas restaurant, so you have to order several dishes in order to get full! and 2) it is quite small, so it may be hard to get in. We have been there many times with clients who are also friends and it is fun for everybody to pick two or three dishes and then share with everybody. Very entertaining dining and I would highly recommend it! Osborne Village is a very hip area, too, and getting hipper, so that adds to the whole experience!

“Excellent food and service”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

We visited this restaurant on a Monday evening, and the food and service were excellent. We walked here from the station, and found a busy neighbourhood with restaurants representing many cultures. This was a good choice, based on previous Tripadvisor reviews.

We enjoy the style of "order and share". We sat at the kitchen bar, enjoyed the artistic creations leaving the kitchen and ordered samples of the ones we liked. The crispy potatoes were delicious and imaginative -- with mayonnaise and spicy tomato sauce. The cauliflower was tasty and filling. We enjoyed the rabbit confit. The braised beef short ribs were excellent.

We will need to return to sample more of the offerings.
