This museum is really worth going. There are lots and lots of exhibits of inuts culture and history and their carvings. You really get a good picture of their history. In addition that there is also a fairly big variety of books, postcards, magnets, stuff animals like bears, foxes, bison and others. It is taking a time travel back to the time this group of people live. The staff is helpful.

It is free.

This museum got started with many items provided from the Catholic Church, other donations continue to build on the exhibits and superb items. Make certain you get a docent to provide greater insight into the collection. They also have a very nice gift shop that deserves a look. Donations are accepted. It’s easy to find, just look for the steeple on the Catholic Cathedral (yes it is the Cathedral for the area). The museum is right next door.

Our Tauck Tour group of 27 enjoyed an excellent talk and tour by the curator, whose extensive knowledge of the museum's art really added to our visit. The gift shop offerings are first class -- yes, the typical T-shirts you see in touristy stores, but also excellent books and fine Iniut art

The name is old fashioned, but the museum itself is excellent. They have art items from over a hundred years ago that are simple, but beautiful and newer pieces that are more complex and beautiful. But, the gift shop was special. It had many nice pieces, from clothing to children's items to native art to books. our large group spent large dollars in here--and for all the right reasons. A must visit place when in Churchill.

Somewhere you can get a picture of Eskimo (Inuit), their culture and art forms and learn some more about the life and trials of the indigenous peoples. Well worth the visit. Good little gift shop too

Very informative museum on the people, animals, region, and culture of the surrounding area. Worth a visit while in Churchill. The museum itself isn't very large but it offers many artifacts to browse through and information to read. It also has a nice gift shop for the Churchill souvenir. Don't forget to sign the guest book before departing.

Excellent quality exhibits clearly labelled. Gives you an insight the life of the eskimo. You can be as quick, or take as long as you like to study the intricate carvings

This is another must while visiting Churchill. It has a broad range of works both contemporary and vintage of local artisans, including functional stuff like kayaks on display We were told that prices were on the reasonable side, and this held true for carvings, clothing, book, stuffed animals, etc.
