I went out on the last two days of the season - 17/18 November. What an experience, bears arrived from all directions. So exciting, Bill the driver was absolutely wonderful, a great guide tracked down mother and two cubs after seeing all three on the ice on Hudson Bay. They were now on land, what a sighting. The most exhilarating experience i have ever had, to see these wonderful animals up close, much better than watching documentaries.Took some great pics. I will certainly be recommending my friends in Australia about Great White Bear Tours and also remind them that it was very very freezing.. The lunch was Soup, so thick you could use a fork. coffee and hot chocolate also available. Worth every bit of what i had to pay for the tour..

Fantastic trip - tour guide, polar rover driver and minibus driver (Karen, Brendan and Stew) couldn't do enough to make it a magical time. Stayed in Churchill and went out on rover two days and one evening. Plenty of bears, an artic fox and hare and even the Northern Lights. Husky ride was not to be missed! Organised by Natural Habitat - might be a bit more expensive but worth it for additional space on rover - plenty of room to move around when taking pictures

Best way in the world to see the polar bear. Natural Habitat in conjunction with Great White Bear Tours was an A+ combination. It is best to stay out on the tundra on the train like tundra buggies. We saw a minimum of 14 bears and up to 20 bears a day. Most activity took place at our stationary location where the accommodations are spartan but the food was fantastic. The bears are only a few feet away. Leaders are intelligent and really know their subject matter. If you like the polar bear this trip is a must.

We went out twice with Great White Bears Tours. The main reason for choosen them was 'window seat for everyone' and having seen how others cram in people 4 abreast I'm glad we did. We saw some 7 bears each trip and on the first trip we also saw some arctic hares and arctic foxes. The second trip we were closer to a couple of bears and considering the rain on both trips we were lucky the bears moved for us.
The organisation was slick, lunch was simple but good and a flush toilet was helpful too.
