“A Two Night Stay - Excellent Property”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

We stayed at this facility for two nights on a trip to the west. Although there was a bad storm and the power blew out, we had great company with the staff who couldn't do enough for us. The rooms are clean, location great, nice and quiet and dog friendly. I would recommend this spot for anyone travelling through Brandon, long or short term. We had been here in the summer with a similar experience.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a convenient ground floor room with walk out to the parking lot. Our room was clean. The staff were so very friendly and extremely helpful.Free breakfast of eggs toast, muffins, waffles, cereal and fruit.Tea and Coffee always available. Kathy want out of her way to fill our needs.

The front desk clerk (Hector) treated me great respect and dignity... better than 5 Star hotels that I have in. The rooms were spotless and well kept. Although not close to any amenities, I would still highly recommend this hotel!!

I have stopped in this hotel a few times over the past ten years. I like that it is easy to access from the highway. And it used to be clean and a great value. However, our last visit was disappointing.

The hotel lobby had that "covered up" cigarette smoke smell. Our room did not smell much better (we booked non-smoking). The cot we ordered was late in arriving, and had a torn mattress.

I think it is time for the Comfort Inn to consider a renovation plan. They could use new bathrooms, new carpets, paint and a good deep cleaning.

For what I paid for our room, I could have stayed in one of the newer hotels along that stretch, and possibly had a pool and hot tub for the kids to use.

Excellent hotel to stay at. It's clean, comfortable and affordable. The place was of great quality, the service and friendliness of the staff was exemplary. I recommend it highly and I will surely be staying there again the next time I visit Brandon.

Room Tip: Room 129 was a comfortable room with a queen bed. I really liked having access to our car which was...

Great if you can get a room on the main floor with a patio door for unloading/loading this makes up for the breakfast which is pretty weak in comparison to what other hotels offer for free. There is a McDonalds that has good coffee and muffins right next door.

Great stopover hotel, except no pool or hot tub. After a 600 miles of riding a pool and hot tub would have been rewarding. Very friendly staff. We qualified for the "biker special" but the managers special was a better deal for us.

Room Tip: Rooms in the rear or down the side as Highway is close.
