“Thrilling!”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

My husband and I decided last minute to do some winter zip lining, after tips from some friends we met on the mountain who raved about Ziptrek tours! They were right! We signed up last minute, an hour before the tour and were the only two zipping with 2 guides. Our guides, Rob and Dylan, were AWESOME. Something we didn't expect from the tour was to learn so much about Whistler's part in becoming a sustainable, Ecco friendly destination. Dylan and Rob were EXPERTS about the Canadian environment, animals, plants, trees, etc. it was so interesting to walk through the beautiful wilderness and get so much information!

The zip lining was fantastic! We decided to do the eagle tour...which was about 2 hours and included 5 zip lines...no experience necessary...the guides teach you everything and make you to feel so comfortable. We got some great pictures, and it even snowed while we were on our tour!

We would definitely pay to do this again! It was a great thing to add to our trip!

Thanks Ziptrek!

Dear Courtney A,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write your review of Ziptrek, we truly appreciate the effort and feedback. Wow, it sounds like you had a terrific time, and you did a wonderful job of detailing the experience. Being fortunate enough to essentially land a private tour is a great turn of events.

Also wanted to thank you for calling out the guides, they are obviously such a key component of delivering the overall experience, and it's kind of you to acknowledge that first hand (they also read these reviews, and it means a great deal to them).

Sincerely,

Warrick Hubbard

Ziptrek was so much fun. You zipline between Whistler and Blackcomb. It was snowy and beautiful. The guides were great. They are also very environmentally conscious.

“Great time”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

Thos was my wife's and I first time zip lining. Wow what a great time we had. Although our first time we went with the "Eagle" tour as we could zip line right back to the base of the mountain. Hanging upside down zip lining over top of the trees in the snow is awesome! Dan and Chris our guides were fantastic and made sure everyone was very safe and also having lots of fun.

Congrats on jumping right in and heading out on the Eagle tour, as well as going upside down! We certainly appreciate the other kind words, and calling out the guides by name.

“a blast”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

We were here in July 2012. We had never zip-lined before, and so we chose the Bear tour. Our guide got us outfitted, gave us our safety briefing, and ran us all through the "bunny" zip line. Then it was off to the races, as we did the main body of the tour, criss-crossing above the gorge. A fantastic experience -- my wife and I both went upside down, no-hands on our final crossing, and I was so pumped I bungee jumped the next day.

“This topped off the girls weekend away!”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

Girls trip to Whistler would not be complete without a ziptrek! This was so much fun, a definite adrenalin rush, great guides who were informative too.
If you want good photos you really have to go hard out with your flips haha my friends' photos were great, mine not so much because I was a bit chicken to flip right upside down.
Good to know they donate money to charity, but even so I did think it was a little bit overpriced at first, which kind of put me off doing it as I was travelling at the time, but so glad I caved and did it!
