Reasonably priced food on Whistler side with a good selection to choose from. burgers, sandwiches, noodle soups etc.
Average meal would be about 14-16CAD or so and include fries and a drink.
Good toilet facilities and shop too. Excellent place to stop

Right at the top of the Whistler gondala is the round house, many eateries and public facilities including massage chairs. As can be expected near the top of the mountain you pay a premium for the food but of excellent quality and still cheaper than many places in Europe for lesser quality

What a way to treat a customer! Firstly Whistler Blackcomb is an amazing place!!! Fantastic skiing/boarding, the tube park is great, the village and in general the place is well worth a visit! However and it's a big however... There is a serious problem with their mountain restaurant...Roundhouse! This is what happened, after being greeted by a very pleasant member of staff who handed me a tray I qued up at the grill section, while my friends went to get a table. The lady at the grill section asked me what I would like to eat... I said Chicken Tenders, and was promptly told I couldn't get them here and had to move to another que where they would serve them! This would be a perfectly valid argument, if the "Chicken Grill section" was the other side of the Resturant...it was not! In fact the server right next to her was serving Chicken. Instead of moving 60cm to dish up the chicken tenders, the woman flat out refused to move her hand and serve chicken tenders. Instead she told me that I would have to que up in yet another que, which by this point had about 15 people in, to end up in exactly the same place I was currently stood, albeit 60cm to my left talking to a different server! I want to stress how close this server was to the chicken tenders... There was no dividing barrier, nothing to stop her picking them up, or asking the guy to pass a plate over with them on! What was even more frustrating... when I changed my order to a burger and fries, because I was "ALLOWED" to order that at this station, the same one the also served chicken tenders, except not for this que... The guy that served the chicken tenders, that "couldn't" serve me... Ended up serving my fries!!! He passed them right over to me!

I know this is a minor "problem" in the grand scheme on things! However bad customer service is not acceptable! Why could the server not just ask the guy next to her to pass a plate of chicken tenders over?

The overwhelming feeling I have got from eating on the mountain is...FRUSTRATION! There is a complete lack of wanting to help in this section of the Resturant!

Attended a dinner during the evening/night and it was amazing to watch the sun set and see the whistler village lit up at night was good and staff friendly - the real highlight though is simply the location, absolutely stunning.
