“Quality big meat feed”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Started with a nice rack of ribs followed by a prime rib steak topped with lobster tail. A nice meal after a hard day on the slopes.

“Better places available”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

I recently had a meal with 4 friends and a 2 year child. It was a mid week and the place was quite, we were seated on the back wall which was awful and half of us spent the night looking at the wall. Not sure why we were placed here as there was lots of other seats available.
The food was average for the price you are paying. We all have a starter and main. My 2 year old daughter received a main course bigger than my ours despite saying a small portion. It was such a waste of food and money. I have noticed other places such as the westin dont charge for kids under 5 when adults are dining. Worth taking in to account. Our waitress was poor and didnt really seem to show interest in us until our bill was requested. We visit Whistler every year and usually have two meals in Ric's but no more. We found a new place called the rim rock down in creekside, which is amazing, the staff are excellent, we ended up there 3 times in 2 weeks.

The food and drinks here are fabulous. We had a 3 year old with us and the staff were great. We eat here a few times it was that good. I would recommend the crabs legs!

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

The decor in Ric's is pretty good. There is a good choice of items on the menu. The service was good.
The food was ok, nothing special, but as expected. Price wise, this restaurant sits somewhere between Earls & The Keg.
We will visit this restaurant again on our next visit to Whistler.

“Great night of camaraderie, food and fun.”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

We had a group of 8, but decided to blow off our reservation and sit in the bar area to watch football bowl game at the last second. Very accommodating about the last-minute change and Emma, our waitress, was awesome...she grabbed the remote and found our game and then she got busy. She had high energy, incredibly positive and passionate about the food and her service. She gave great recommendations (helpful with the diverse menu)--the best of which was the lightly seared Cajun tuna... absolutely stole the show. Group had a good mix of steaks and seafood choices. All enjoyed...but the Cajun tuna rocked!

Thanks so much for your review. Glad we could accommodate your need for a bowl game and deliver the goods on the Cajun Tuna - a great compliment from someone from the South. Hope you can come back North sometime soon.
