We have a timeshare here in whistler and come several times a year. We have tried just about every eating venue around in both summer and winter. This was our first time at Pasta Lupino's and we totally enjoyed ourselves. The service and food were fantastic. We enjoyed the laidback atmosphere, without skimping on attention to service and quality. We've seen many come and many go. We do have several favorites and now Pasta Lupino is one of them.

Experienced, friendly, and prompt service with cozy atmosphere. Good inexpensive dinner option after a day on the mountain, especially on a very cold evening. Pasta comes with focaccia bread and choice of soup or salad for about $16 before tip and taxes. Food wasn't exceptional, but it was fresh and above average. Selection on the menu was the standard, familiar pasta dishes. Daily soup was nice. We got lucky and didn't have to wait for a table. It's a busy, popular place with lots of people ordering take out.

This place has some of the best food I have ever had (from a price/value ratio). Chicken parmasain is the way to go!

Very good, highly recomended.

Upon entry you find this to be an inviting and simple spot to eat. Your kid in a high chair or crying will not leave you hiding amongst patrons.
Each meal has soup or salad, I opted for soup. Thai coconut currie soup was my choice, which was home made and not what I expected. Usually these soups are very creamy and heavy. This had coco cream but was light and well flavored.
A bread basket joined with oil and balsamic on the side. The bread was too white for my liking, I prefer a more crusty offering but non the less edible. Oil and balsamic were good with salt already mixed in.
Sausage arrabiata was full of thin sliced sausage, while the pasta was perfectly cooked. The portion was a standard health guide amount, no undoing the belt here.
Service was very attentive and friendly by one of the many global servers - Australia, New Zeland, etc.

Given the cost of food in Whistler (base of mountain panini, smaller than a McD's burger was 7.95), this place serves a good home cooked Italian meal for $20, drink extra. You could get that down to 15, but that is for a 1 of 3 sauce choice plus a pasta.

Reminds me of Terroni's in Toronto, back in 1995 when they were just starting.

After spending a fair amount on accommodations & winter sports, we were looking for a place to grab an inexpensive dinner in Whistler. Pasta Lupino definitely delivered.

The restaurant is very small, but we were lucky enough to get a table right away at about 7pm on a Saturday night. For less then $15, one can get bread (served with Olive Oil & Balsamic vinegar), soup or salad, and a pasta dish (with added chicken). Overall, the food was excellent quality. I really enjoyed the homemade soup and pasta. The only disappointed was that my boyfriend's chicken wasn't quite warm enough, and the table felt like it could have used a good scrub down. Despite this, the food was delicious and cheap enough that I would definitely return!
