The restaurant is not upfront the Whister Visitors Center. It's a bit hidden actually. It seems to be half clean, from the main entrance. But, going upstairs, you'll find a nice place to eat. The food is the main attraction. It's up to you to make your choices of meat and vegetables, in small or big size and they'll fry it for you in a sort of big oven. While you're waiting, standing and watching your food been prepared, take the time to get news about Whistler from the Cook. You'll pay according to the amount of food you'll choose. Prefer the small recipient, to start.

No menu no price and they get you to sit down at the table then tell you how it works. This place is not your typical mongolian grill.
They charge by the pound.
Avoid this place.
$90 for 2 meals at 22 beers is absurd even for Whistler.

After 10 days travelling through BC and Alberta we were so pleased to eat out here and take a break from the typical travelling food that seemed to always include fries of some sort. The service was very friendly and informative. This was greatly appreciated as the dining concept was new to us. It consisted of collecting your choice of fresh vegetables from a great selection, adding a meat if desired (I strongly recommend the salmon) and then putting on a sauce prior to giving it to the chef who stir fries it on a large hotplate while you wait.
As mentioned in other posts you do have to be careful as you pay for your food by weight and the temptation to fill the bowl to brimming is hard to resist. It was certainly not one of the cheapest feeds we had on our trip but it was certainly one of the tastiest, freshest and nutritious meals. Thoroughly recommend it.

We were lured in by the flash advertising on the street claiming it was the best in Whistler. The concept is clever and food quick and tasty - but the price was over the top. I paid $31.70 for my small bowl. As it is by the weight they must make heaps on vegetarian dishes. So be careful particularly with the sauces which add significantly to the weight. Service was excellent and drink prices average.

We nearly didn't come here because the restaurant didn't have a menu or prices in the window, which can be a sign of somewhere that likes to rip off tourists - but we decided to brave it anyway and asked for a menu before taking a seat!

The concept is great - it's a stir-fry containing whatever you want. You go to a buffet and put whatever ingredients you want in your bowl - a huge variety of vegetables, and various meats. They weigh the bowl, and you get charged by how much you've put in - it's $40/kg. The staff advise you to go "little but often" - i.e. just have a small bowl to start with, then go back for more if you're hungry. We went for two servings, and each one came to about $13. We noticed people in the queue in front of us had simply piled everything they could into their bowl - waaaay too much food, and I dread to think what their bill came to! There were some photos of people who'd really gone overboard - I think the record was a 4kg meal, which seems crazy (the bill for that bowl would have been $160!).

In addition to what you put in your bowl, you get a free soup (miso soup or hot soup), and jasmine rice. The website says "your choice of jasmine or brown rice" but you might want to ask first if you want brown rice - we didn't specify, and got jasmine rice which is what we would have asked for anyway.

Once you have your bowl of food, the entertaining cooks cook it in front of you, while juggling (yes, really) spatulas and so on, on a massive hot plate - this is where you can end up with a bit of a queue if the restaurant is busy.

The service was friendly, and we thought the prices were reasonable - but as other reviewers have said, it's easy to get carried away and then the bill might come as a shock.

The restaurant is also spotlessly clean and in a brilliant location in the heart of the village.
