My family adores the Mongolie Grill in Whistler, not to be confused with any of the sub-par similar restaurants in Vancouver. On this last trip, we went with another family with a total of 4 adults and 5 kids. Even picky eaters can put together a meal they'll enjoy as they choose every single ingredient and flavour in their bowl.
A couple tips you might find helpful: 1/ this place is almost always packed and they don't take reservations. Send someone about 15 minutes early to put down your name and mobile number - they'll call you when your table is ready; and 2/ take a small metal ingredients bowl, not a big one unless you're prepared for a $35-40+ plate. Don't forget that sauce is heavy. :) Enjoy!
