Description: The Longhorn Saloon has been the place to après since opening day in 1981. Located steps away from the bottom of Whistler Mountain it's at the heart of the action. Whatever the reason, celebrate on the patio with a beer, bulldog or bottle of champagne! We are a 19+ venue from noon onwards during the Winter months with some exceptions. Feel free to give us a call or stop by if you have any questions, we look forward to hosting you!

This place is right in the village at the foot of the mountain and has a great apres ski atmosphere. On warm days in the village the patio is PACKED and they sometimes have live music inside. It's a fun venue.

Went to the Longhorn after a day on the slopes and had some nachos with beef. The quality of this plate was abysmal. Overcooked, not particularly generous for the price or as a sharing plate, and generally unappetizing. When our waitress inquired as to the quality of the food, I told her I was disappointed. She offered to have it made again, but I told her that if this is how they normally serve nachos, that would not help. So instead she just removed it from our bill. Good service, lousy kitchen! I left her a good tip.

Thanks for the review and we are glad you enjoy our venue. I am glad that our server took care of you and apologize about your nachos. The nachos must have been a set that got past us (which doesn't happen often!) as I have had compliments just today about their quality and portion and we sell an heck of a lot of them! The user above certainly seems to enjoy them on their review. I am truly sorry the quality of your plate was not up to our standards and if you are ever around in the near future we'd love to prove it to you with a mountain of nachos on the house.

Thanks again for the review and hope to see you soon!

The Longhorn is a well stablished bar in Whistler. The beer is cold, the ambiance typical apre ski, but my suggestion is to skip the mixed drinks, as they contain very little of the alcohol (a strawberry margarita without the tequila, or perhaps the bottle was waffed over the blender but not much else). They do offer food, but the truth is that there are countless other eateries in Whistler.

Thank you for the review, we are pleased you enjoy our atmosphere. Your experience with our mixed drink is uncommon and only ever due to an accidental human error and is never a part of our operations. We do not allow free-pouring of liquor and all drinks are correctly measured out by ounce by our trained bartenders which are continually trained and audited weekly to ensure proper service and mixology. I apologize for your accidental experience, I assure you it is only ever by mistake.

I hope this doesn't dis-sway you from another visit in the future!

We would go to long horn every day for apres-ski - it's the best! Margarona / Beergaritas were the best (though pricy), as well as the wings and nachos! Love this place - great memories! Service could have been a bit better, but it wasn't bad...

The location and setup is great, however the food menu and service is nothing special. Go for a drink after skiing and head somewhere else in the village for dinner.

We had a great Saturday afternoon at the Longhorn, and had apres there a couple of times. Try the Bulldog!

Drinks are a little pricy, but the food, atmosphere and wait staff make up for it.
