The moment we opened the door we were taken back by ascetics of the venue, so much character.
This was back up with all outs meals which consisted of soups, risotto, gnocchi, steak & fish. We will be going back before the holidays out... Lots more to try!

Our family of six had an excellent dinner at Il Caminetto Di Umberto. The ambiance in this restaurant was great. The food was outstanding. We started out with appetizers of prawns and calamari which were delicious. Our children ordered tortellini and spaghetti for main courses, while the adults in the party had to have the salmon. We ordered the salmon medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. (You can't get that in the Midwest!) We all ordered yummy desserts, but I have to say the best one was the white chocolate raspberry gelato. Wow! What a treat! We would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was also excellent!

We went for an evening meal on our honeymoon. The standard of the ingredients was not great on the anti- pasti starter, and the pasta dishes we had were very basic yet expensive. It cost over $30 for pasta with a creamy sauce and a few peas. Completely over priced basic food. I've e heard a few of ther Italians in town are better value.......

We had a birthday dinner for 9 last night at the restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the staff very attentive - which was especially important given the range of age from 10 to 50! Is best meal we have had a whistler so far. Food quality and taste - amazing!
