Lunch at the Crystal Hut is not to be missed! A snug and warm alpine cabin with great food and amazing views. And after, a run down Rock and Roll is the perfect finish!

$150 per person is too much in my opinion for good cheese fondue but the rest of the meal being very mediocre blanched veggies and sirloin chunks boiled in vegetable broth. I felt like I was at camp, not a super-expensive restaurant. Staff was friendly and well-intentioned but they can't overcome the mediocrity of the food. a group of for is looking at a $750 bill including wine. Much better value spent at other top restaurants in town. Big cat ride was fun but not worth the average food to me.

Thank you for providing us your feedback with regards to the Fondue Dinner at Crystal Hut in the evenings. This activity is operated by Canadian Snowmobile, and comments/suggestions should be directed to them. Whistler Blackcomb owns the venue, however the evening events are managed and operated by Canadian Snowmobile. We have sent them a copy of your message as we hope they are able to respond to you.

Gorgeous thick waffles accompanied by sweet straweberries and blueberries, whipped cream, choc chips and drizzled with a caramel sauce. The only thing more to say is make sure you get there by 11.30 am otherwise you won't get in!

We made three tries to eat at the Crystal Hut, one time we ate lunch and the chicken was fair but the salmon was way overcooked in the 400F fire oven, the next 2 times we came just for the famous waffles, but each time, they denied us because they were not serving waffles more that day, even at 3 o´clock during the day! We were amazed, how much trouble could it be to cook 2 waffles, when the hadn´t even cleaned the kitchen. Very inflexible and we felt like the staff just wanted to go home asap, huge disappointment specially because we had saved the waffles for the last day and made a trip from Whistler mountain to be able to finish the last day at the hut..

This restaurant up on the mountain, at the top of Crystal Chair, deserves better rating than that! Being on the slopes should not have let it out..
The hut itself is extremely cozy. if you get a table outside in the sun, you will get some of the best views in Whistler.
Food is very very good..the choice is limited of course, but what they have is all prepared "au feu de bois" and is delicious.
Get the Salmon with a piece of bread and vegetables, it's delicious and it's only for 13 or 14$.. beats all the overpriced and overrated apres-ski in the village...
The whaffle if you can afford 1500calories is historical!!!
Can't beat it for lunch break on a sunny day.
BTW same applies for Chic Pea!
