Description: Christine's is located at the top of Blackcomb Mountain in the Rendezvous Lodge. Overlooking Whistler Village; in the winter watch snow enthusiasts pass by, and in the summer see our local Marmot's, Whiski Jack's and other wild life play. Join us for lunch after a morning on the mountain. Christine's is accessible by non-skiers & riders via the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola.

If you are brave enough to ride on the highest gondola ride in the world (there are other ways to get there), you have the option of not eating, self-service or Christines. The view alone was worth the money. The menu is VERY limited - OK, some times it works/sometimes not. I plumped for the mussels as the non-meat options were few. The staff would no doubt have produced something if I'd insisted. Husband had the ubiquitous 'burger' and fries. The local beer was wonderful according to husband and I had the cheap 'fizz'. Very, very, very friendly staff........perhaps some people like that style of service. Look out for the cheeky chaps who flies down to pinch your left-overs! He, and the spectacular views, steal the show.

My husband and I went to this restaurant after riding the Peak to Peak gondola on Juy 7th. It was worth the trip as far as the view and the food went. We highly recommend the wine flights. However, the servers were a little harried, and the girl we had poured so much wine on the table and flight sheets that we had to clean it up ourselves with napkins. One of our biggest beefs with many restaurants is their lack of education in wine pouring. Quite often our wine glasses have dribbles down them or wine all over the base of the glass so that it drips when you pick the glass up. Other than that we had a great meal.

Fantastic views and delicious food - in our view this is the best place to eat on the mountains (Blackcoomb) and definitely worth a visit. The food is of a high quality and is not expensive - especially when compared to similar quality in European mountain resorts - and offers a great alternative to other mountain dining spots in Whistler which are more of a self-service type.

Christine's is on the main floor of the lodge that is directly next to the Peak 2 Peak gondola on the Blackcomb side of the resort. Its the perfect place to have lunch after skiing in the morning. A nice, civilized way to take a break. Service was excellent and the menu was decently good. We did not have a reservation (which it appears is necessary during peak times) but the hostess was able to fit us in after a short 5 minute wait. In our three person party (which included our 7 year old), we had the Seafood Bouillabaisse, Steak and Frites, and the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup. The Bouillabaisse was excellent. The steak was fine (not exceptional but adequate, particularly for a restaurant located on the mountain). Our son was happy with the grilled cheese sandwich. Nice views from the tables of the mountains.

After a hard morning's skiing this is an excellent place to relax - kick off your ski boots and enjoy good wine and food. The waitress was very attentive but allowed you time to settle in and make yourself at home. The French onion soup was beautiful as was the trio of tomato and blue cheese. Main courses included Bouillabase, Steak and chips and Chicken and Mushroom Crepes. The chocolate mousse cake was enormous and very tasty. To get the best tables arrive early.
