I'm going to let you all in on a little secret. This place is incredible for Vegetarians. Yes, believe it or not, this Oyster bar, steakhouse style restaurant with several dollar signs next to its name has a separate Vegetarian menu with incredibly well thought out dishes and stunning flavor, heck we wished we could've tried the other veggie Entree's as well but unfortunately the human body is sort of limited in its capabilities.
We were taken to our table to be seated in a nice, quiet well appointed setting, our waiter Sam was one of the best we've met and he had stunning attention to detail, combing off small bread crumbs off the table between portions, spotting a water spot on a knife and replacing it before I used it, carefully portioning our bottle of wine so our glass was never empty, these were just some of the little things that go a long way in making a fine dining experience one notch better.
On to the food, we started with bread and butter, sounds simple enough, but the butter is superb. Creamy, milky butter made from rich cows for sure. We tried the Vegetarian Sushi for starter and it was incredible. The attention to detail in the presentation and overall dish was impeccable. For main course we had Polenta which was also rich and creamy and had very nice sauces to flavor the dish. Finished with a cheese sampler plate with Fig based jam and a Lava cake with Salted Caramel Ice cream which was just perfect.
Overall, Five stars with no inhibition whatsoever, one of the best vegetarian experiences we have had.
