they maintain their edge and there wasn't a mouthful that wasn't great
the best in the area. A great wine list by the glass where I over indulged and the after dinner drink list was amazing with a 5 Puttonmaus Tokay from Hungary that I rarely ever see

We dined at Araxi for dinner with friends during our recent ski trip to Whistler. The food was amazing, the service excellent and the ambience lovely. We booked ahead and asked for a table by the window - perfect evening enjoying superb food, drinking good wine, enjoying great company, and overlooking the snow and passers by in the busy Whistler village stroll. We dined out every night of our 11 night stay, and this was definitely the highlight. Highly recommended for a special occasion! Enjoyed it so much we returned the next day for the apres-ski oysters - excellent!!!

It's the time of the year in Whistler to hit the food deals.

Araxi (and others) are offering fixed price menus that can't be beat.

My wife and I have been here twice and they haven't disappointed. We just had the 5 course option and it was fantastic. Nice thing was we could each pick what we wanted for each course. A great way to get a variety of tastes.

I've read the ownership group has sold out to other interests, I hope that the new bosses don't mess with the history and success of this Whistler legend.

Amazing location. Phenomenal food. The sizes of each plate were perfect. The 5 courses option is the way to go. It can get loud but I believe it adds to the vibe of the place.

We came across Araxi by chance and in the low season of late April they were offering a fantastic après deal of $12 for 12 oysters (3pm to 5pm). We availed ourselves of this deal for 5 days running, tasting oysters from different regions. Our chef Patrick was very knowledgable and happy to share his experiences.
A great place to spend a pleasant hour or two. We'll be back!
