There are a lot of restaurants in Whistler's Lower Village from which to choose. This one was a good choice for fish and chips. The patio seating offered very good people watching.
The fish and chops was served on a wooden cutting board, which made for difficult eating since there were so many chips (french fries) that there was no place to cut the very large piece of white fish. The chips were thick-cut and quite good. The fish was fried to perfection. It came with both a small paper cup of both ketchup and tartar sauce. 2 kinds of vinegar were also offered.
My friend had the beef and mushroom pot pie, and reported that it was very good.
The waitress seemed disappointed that we were not drinking and only eating. She said, "That's no fun.", which I thought was a bit rude. But maybe she was just trying to be funny.
