Description: In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.

Best steak ever!! This restaurant deserves it's #1 rating on TA. We made a reservation the same day we wanted to dine and despite being warned by our hotel we may not get in, we were offered several different seating times. We started with a drink at the very well-stocked bar (as a gin fan, I was impressed with the 12 gins stocked!), and we were served there by a very knowledgeable and attentive barman. Once seated, we both ordered the rib eye from an incredibly friendly waiter called John, who gave us excellent service all evening and even offered to arrange our transport home. The steaks were out of this world, the best we've ever eaten and every mouthful was AMAZING. Worth the price, worth the visit. GO HERE, and enjoy!

Make sure you dine here. I read about it on TripAdvisor and we are so glad we took all the numerous good reviews to heart. The dinner was absolutely amazing! We were able to sit outside so make sure when you book a reservation, request outside if the weather is nice. The service was also top notch and they don't scrimp on their portion size either. Food prices weren't too bad but the drinks were. Make sure you ask about the wine by the glass prices before just ordering. We had an amazing Cabernet with our meal but it ended up being $30 a glass. Yikes! Overall though, we could not have been happier with this meal and would return if we're ever in Whistler.

Continuing our gastronomic tour of the Canadian Rockies, this restaurant was a must see. We were not disappointed. The choice of starter and mains was excellent, albeit we opted for the main when we saw the size of portions. Had four different mains between us: mixed grill, fillet of beef, 3 fish special and wild salmon. All dishes were cooked to perfection and really well presented. The sweets were equally good; if you can' t decide opt for the sharing dish - just stunning, albeit don' t count the calories! A restaurant not to be missed, albeit not cheap- but when in Whistler....it is the the best around.

We have been to Rim Rock several times over the years, we make sure to plan one special dinner there every time we visit Whistler. It is one of my favorite restaurants ever, great food, but not pretentious. They do a four course special a couple times a year and it is a fantastic bargain. Some of my favorite things are the app of various cold seafoods (special), scallops & pork belly, lobster mashed potatoes, porcini crusted halibut, and the sticky toffee dessert. Although I have loved everything else i have tried as well, you really can't go wrong.

Food is amazing, service the best - Shelly was tops. Wine list gave us good options without breaking the bank. Make a reservation, they seem to be packed every time we go.
