“Staff are very Friendly and helpful; Stunning hotel”
Reviewed March 4, 2009

The hotel is stunning! The staff were very friendly and accomodating, helping us to celebrate a special birthday, notably Laina and Dave at reception, Becky in the amazing and very relaxing lounge and the Aussie shuttle driver. I even saw the staff handle a very rude man (from a well known Washington based software company, as his jacket advertised) very well, with more patience than a saint.
The only thing that I think would be an improvement is a complimentary breakfast, cereal at the least. No hotel seems to do this anymore, so it would set them apart, and mean that their guests hit the slopes satisfied and ready for the day.
My husband and I would definately return. We truely had a memorable weekend thanks to the staff as well as the stunning views from our room and the feeling of total luxury.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights; we wanted something away from the hustle and bustle of the village. The hotel itself was gorgeous and my favourite pastime was coming home after a hard day's skiing and lying in the amazing bath ! The rooms are big, comfy and the bathroom is something else - the heated floors were awesome ! It's convenient to Creekside lift as well, although the rental prices on equipment are a little more expensive here than the village. Restaurant very nice, very attentive service - the cafe/deli was okay but there are better and more varied breakfasts elswhere. Stock up on bread and coffee - have toast and coffee in your room in the morning and hit the slopes early !!
Very enjoyable.

this was our very first ski holiday and first time in canada. it was fantastic!!!
we chose nita lake because it was new and i didn't want to stay in the village, the hotel is beautiful and the staff we found really helpful. having a child the fridge etc was really handy for toast and cereal and the room was very spacious. i enjoyed the fact there was yoga available to guests and we also used the hot tub the view was breathtaking of the mountains.
the hotel arranged a transfer from vancouver airport with vip whistler and this was worth every penny as we were tired from traveling from glasgow and they collected us right outside the airport ,no trying to find car our driver.
we as beginars found the creekside gondela ok you can get right up to the top of whistler mountain with no hassle and then ski in whatever direction you choose.
you should make the time to walk the trail at the back of the hotel into whistler village as the scenery is lovely.
we loved our trip and are looking into going back next year

My wife and I booked a 3 night stay here end of Febraury 2009. Having stayed at most of the Whistler Village Hotels we decided to give this a shot. Rate was close to other resorts and we booked directly thru hotel and got a decent rate. Arrived at hotel on Sunday afternoon, no valet parking attendant or hotel employee greeted us ( hotel advertises Valet parking for $15 day). We checked in, room neat, clean and spacious. fireplace, living area and flat screen tv. Nice but not overdone. Morning had breakfast at JC's that is part of the hotel. Has danish, cofee, etc. No real breakfast just really basic food. Waited 20 minutes for car and front desk clerk brought car around? It seemed that they only had a few employees and service was definitely lacking. I saw the manager working in the breakfast place, the front desk and outside. Went sking and returned to room at 3pm to find had not been cleaned yet? We left at 8:30am, wheres the service??? We were advised by another couple to not waste our time having dinner in the hotel as they were less than impressed the night before. Seemed like a high price menu for basic food and there were 0, I mean zero people in the place at 7pm on a Sunday. I could go on for hours about the little things that you come to expect as basic service items in a hotel and this place just doesnt have them. I even commented to the mgr about the lack of service and he agreed, asked our room number and didnt do anything about it. The place is nice, good location and new but if you expect service, id stay somewhere else. Maybe the owners of this place can go see how the Hilton, Westin and Fairmount service their guests. I would definitely not recommend this place.

My husband and I stayed at Nita for a long weekend ski break. The staff were fantastic. They were so accommodating. We arrived early on the Friday morning to catch a full day of skiing, too early to check in. However we left our luggage at the hotel, and set off for a day on the slopes. At midday we had a call from the hotel to say that our room was ready and that they had transfered our luggage to the room already. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The big bathtubs are just what you need after a days skiing. The free shuttle is a bonus, and we made use of this a fair bit. We did not eat at the restaurant for dinner, but we did have appetizers in the lounge and a lovely Sunday brunch by the lake. The food was lovely and now we wished we had had dinner there. Although the hotel is lovely (expected as it is new), it was the service and the friendliness of all the staff that made this such a lovely stay. The only downside was that one of the hot tubs was not working. We will be returning to the hotel again.

My girlfriend and I went skiing to whistler last January. We didn't know what to expect from this hotel, but it was fantastic. The staff is great, the hotel is very nice, the rooms are amazing including the bathroom. Plus you have a free shuttle from there to the village. It is a magnificent hotel.

My partner and i wanted a few days away from the city and this placed looked nice. We stayed before the ski season so it was fairly quiet. Although it did snow on the first night which was nice!

The hotel staff were great and very polite and professional. The rooms were fantastic and the bathroom was amazing to say the least! We had dinner at the resturant and everything was amazing.
The next night we had eaten dinner in Whistler village so when we got back to the hotel we sat in the bar by the biggest gas fireplace you have every seen! We ordered many drinks and appies over 3 or 4 hours and then retired to our room. This hotel was great and we will go back!
