“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed February 28, 2014 via mobile

Ok, not there really is such a thing in Whistler, but this is close as you get to a hidden gem. Great food and service, we were a party of 10 and they did a phenomenal job of getting food out hot, in good time, and with a smile. Excellent wine selection as well. Great experience, and this will be a recommendation to all my friends.

“Great New Restaurant in Whistler”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

For those of you who were upset when La Rua closed, you now have a great new option.
Chef RD Stewart has opened the Red Door Bistro!
Many of his signature dishes are available as well as a few new surprises. The Duck Spring Rolls and the Short Ribs are a must. They have a very comprehensive wine list that compliments the great food options. The staff are extremely efficient and professional and above all, genuine and friendly locals.
If you are new to Whistler or a long term local you will be treated to a great dining experience.
I would recommend calling for a reservation as the word is out about this Creekside gem.

“Repeat treat.”
Reviewed February 24, 2014

had an opportunity to revisit a new favorite this past weekend.
Did not have a reservation but since we are neighbors I stopped by for a look and we were seated at the bar. Great food, great atmosphere, great prices.
The kitchen staff were attentive and engaging.
We both had the Arctic Char, lovely.
Our waiter "Rosie" was excellent as usual.

“Good food for good value, but VERY NOISY”
Reviewed February 24, 2014

Nice menu with diverse selections. Amazing truffle fries appetizer. Good value, with most main courses priced in the mid-twenties. The main problem is that it is VERY noisy. Although the food was great, I personally wouldn't go back, as I enjoy being able to have a conversation with my dining partners, which was virtually impossible last night.
