I really can't say enough about this wonderful hotel! I come up to Whistler once or twice a year so I have stayed in quite a few hotels there and I have to say that this one was the best of them all! The front desk receptionists were very pleasant and helpful, the valet went above and beyond, and the rooms were beautiful. We had a two bedroom/two bath suite with six people staying in it and we had more than enough room. I must add as well that the bathrooms in the suite had very lovely spa-like feel to them, they were so nice! The buffet breakfast that is included in your stay is a wonderful touch as well. I definitely think that more hotels should do this as I felt like Pan Pacific truly wanted our stay to be as wonderful as it could be! The location of the hotel is pretty much right in the middle of the village so it is a very short walk to almost everything and in less than five minutes you will be at the mountain for skiing or mountain biking.
All in all, I will definitely be staying at this hotel again!

Great condo, VERY friendly helpful staff. Stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite. Kitchen was well equipped, beds comfy, nice furnishings - room was great, not crowded - even with 6 people (OK we didn't spend much time in the room) Buffet breakfast was great - eggs, sausage, cereal, plenty of fresh fruit, danishes etc (why don't more condos in Whistler have breakfast buffets?) -> makes the mornings fast and hassle-free, everyone had a great breakfast, just what they wanted, at the time they wanted.
Pool was fine, most of it was long & narrow for swimming lengths, and the 2 hot tubs were great.
Got a great deal too: saw the "lowest price guarantee", found a lower price online, phoned up Pan Pacific and they gave me that lower price minus 10%.
I think we now prefer Pan Pacific over the Westin (which was our prevous fave)

Stayed for 2 nights in August. Excellent location. Short walking distance to everywhere. Room is spacious & well equipped. Breakfast very busy but got what we want & take them back to room to eat. Staffs are friendly & always with a smile. Made a mistake of spending more money & staying at the 3 star Hampton Inn (CAD$300) at Vancouver downtown before returning home.
Will definitely return to this hotel at our next visit.

Terrific location in the heart of Whistler village. Easy walk to the gondola, shopping, and great dining. We had a lovely one bedroom suite on the 5th floor. Rooms are very nicely appointed with full kitchens. I especially loved the chaise that was placed in front of the window in the living room. A nice hot breakfast buffet was also included.

The hotel staff was cheerful and very helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel our next time in Whistler.

This was a perfect place to ski. I brought my fiance here for his 40th and we both had a great time! The place is clean, convenient as could be (movie theatre is right next door and a short walk to slopes). The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the staff was just the right blend of helpful and friendly. I really liked the decor and size of the room. I loved the closeness to everything in the town - life should be that convenient and sweet! I would highly recommend the place

Stayed for 3 nights on self drive tour of Rockies / Vancouver with 14 month old baby and absolutely loved it.

Why?

-Great for family with young kids

The place had many happy children & was clearly very well geared up for them- From the complimentary baby toiletry pack, nappy bin and cot (travel type!) all being ready in the room, to the way the staff were going out of their way to help.

The location within Whistler village and by the 'village stroll', meant that we were only a few steps away from a safe pedestrian environment for us and the little one to toddle about in.

-Great for enjoying food / drink and activity

By day and by night, both the hotel and Whistler itself had a vibrancy about them we'd not seen in Banff or jasper. Lots of buzzing bars and restaurants gave the place a feeling of energy. Would love to go back in the winter to see how it parties then.

-The room

Perfectly appointed, with a decent balcony (albeit looking out towards road / fire station). I got rather attached to the chaise longue (hopefully spelt right!) in the window, lounging on it, looking out towards the mountains. Loved the kitchen / breakfast bar.

However...

-Parking

As breakfast is complimentary, we were willing to take the $20cdn hit per night for parking. However, make sure you get a ticket from reception (i.e. you check in) before you drive into the car park. The hotel floor has an entry gate that can only be opened by a card - Alternatively, park up and tip those nice men for valet parking.

Had a great time and would go back again tomorrow to Pan Pacific Village Centre.

We just returned from our 3 night stay at The Pan Pacific Village Center in Whistler, BC. We brought along our 3 year old daughter. The hotel is very kid friendly. Board games are offered in the lobby area, "noodles" are available at the pool for children to use at no charge. The pool was a little on the small side, but still big enough for all to enjoy. They also had 2 hot tubs. The pool area was very clean and nice.

Upon check-in we were upgraded from our one bedroom suite to a two bedroom suite at no additional charge. We just asked if they happen to have one available and they did. Quinton checked us in, gathered our luggage and offered excellent customer service. Our room was not going to be available for 2 hours so he stored our bags and brought us our room key at the pool as soon as the room was ready for us. We brought some food and beer with us and when we went to our room for the first time he had the beer already in the fridge for us!

Throughtout our stay we saw him and he always greeted us and made sure we were enjoying our stay.

The breakfast the hotel offers at no charge in the morning was very nice and a great selection.

My one and only complaint of the hotel...... The small of dog pee in our room. What we didnt know was that the hotel was a pet friendly hotel and after making a phone call to the front desk they had someone up immediatly to clean the carpets. That did help the smell.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the heart of the village. We have visited Whistler many times and have stayed at several hotels, this was one of the best for service and location.

Overall, I would recommend the hotel to couples, familys or anyone just wanting to get away.
