“Can't Pick One”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

Strolling along the village stopped by for a breakfast treat. All the seats were full so we thought we'd take one home. Alas, the choices were so varied and looked so delicious we had a tough time selecting one...so we chose more. Our favorites involved fruit, cinnamon, sugar and nuts. The meringues were the size of pumpkins, and the bustle of the staff oozed creativity. Try the Buckwheat Sour Cherry scones, yum! Flakey and sweet, very worth the calories.

“Awesome local bakery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

This locally owned and operated bakery is simply a must-try in Whistler. I've never had anything from Purebread that's not exceptionally good. No matter what you decide to indulge in, you won't be disappointed. The sweets and treats are amazing, and the breads and savory scones are fantastic. I also know someone who used to work here and the name is true to the ingredients - only the best of the best and no fillers or artificial stuff.
Some of my faves: the disfunction-ale bread, made with spent grains from the Whistler beer brewery, the brownies (heavenly) and the scones.
This place should really be rated much higher in the Whistler restaurant listings.

“Great Pastries”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2013

We wondered into this bakery and couldn't leave without buying about 3 different things. We didn't try the coffee. There were so many different pastries that it was hard making a decision. Would definitely like to go back and try something else.
