We visited here on a recent trip to Whistler, not many people were in which made it a bit quiet, but the food was fantastic. Quite honestly the best tandoori chicken I have ever eaten. The waitress was really friendly too. It is over a McDonalds in a shopping centre but don't let that put you off, we'll worth a visit.

We would not have found this place except for Tripadvisor. It is on the second floor of a shopping Mall but don't let that stop you from trying this restaurant. As we entered the restaurant the couple just in front of us mentioned that they had enjoyed the food the night before they were back again.

Our server Hardeep was very helpful and attentive. We ordered the Mixed Platter Snack to share for an appetizer. Although several items were deep fried they were tender and not greasy - excellent flavor too. For our main course we chose Chicken Vindaloo and Lamb Rogan Josh. The lamb was so tender and the sauce was delicious. The Chicken Vindaloo was flavorful - my husband asked for extra spice and they brought him a supply of peppers that did have the zing he was looking for.
We were pleased to see that there were B.C. wines on the wine list as well.
Definitely a restaurant we would recommend

We came here based on the TA reviews. We wanted to give this restaurant a "Good" rating and would have gone for 3 1/2 stars if that was an option. We have to be honest and based on our experience of indian food this is "good" but not "very good" restaurant. Its a bit out of the centre and upstairs in a shopping mall type area.

The restaurant is fine and the service was attentive and genuine. The food was standard Indian cuisine that if you are from the UK you would get in your average local curry house. We had chicken Tikka Masala (told that different to UK masala but not really!) and Lamb Gosht - both meals were good but not amazing if you are used to Indian food.

Loved the food..I have eaten at many Indian restaurants and this one was the best. The items were all reasonably priced.

I booked this place based on the Tripadvisor reviews, and it did not disappoint. Our young waiter greeted us in a most friendly manner when we entered, and I knew at that point that good things would be happening plate-side too, and I wasn't delusional: The food was Ex-cell-ent, really...ok it's on the oily side, but Indian food mostly is (curries are at least). They have all the usual staples you find in , say, a UK Indian restaurant, but the quality of preparations (complex taste of mustard leaf for example in the Saag Chicken, mixed with Spinach), the presentation (beautiful little iron or copper pots the food is presented in), the interior deco and candlelit but non-pompous (often hard to dissociate those two) and last but not least, the super-amenable and friendly service, made for a GREAT evening. I HIGHLY recommend this place, which needs to be much more filled than it was the night we went (fall season is usually quiet so no real surprise there, but still, they deserve more business).
I left a 20% tip and got an appreciative "thanks" from the most sweet waitress...We'll be back :)
