“Snow Mobile tour - one of the best things I have ever done!”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

Don't be put off a snow mobile tour by people saying that it's dangerous... as with all things, danger generally comes from not following instructions. I went on the cruiser 3 hour snow mobile tour today and it was within the top few things I have ever done. The guide - Jeremy was astounding, a natural born teacher - patient, considerate and attentive - he gave us clear instructions and ensured we were constantly happy with the route and at no stage did I feel remotely nervous. I was gutted when the tour was over! The machines are very simple to use and fantastic, high quality snow mobiles - just follow instructions and don't get over excited on the throttle and this will be the best $170 dollars you will spend in Whistler. The gear that TAG let you use for no extra cost is amazing quality - they have everything from goggles to boots. The visit to the yurt for hot chocolate and buns was a lovely little addition and it was nice to have 10 minutes to chat to the guides a little and learn more about the mountains. The scenery up in the mountains is beautiful and there really is no better way to live it, than on a TAG snow mobile tour. The sights were breathtaking and the ride was exhilarating. I can't wait to go back and do it again! I clearly underestimated the brilliance of a good, guided snow mobile tour, prior to experiencing it. Don't hesitate, book it and if you appreciate fun, scenery and living life to the full, you will not regret it. If you feel nervous, just take it steady and at your own pace.

“Beautiful Snowmobile Tour with An Awesome Guide”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

So glad we did this! What an awesome experience! We lucked out - there were about 30 people on say 20 snowmobiles who all went in one direction with 3-4 guides. We were lucky enough to get Andy who was so cool and brought us on the more scenic and exciting route! It was just Andy, my girlfriend and I - we both had our own snowmobile! It was amazingly beautiful! The snowmobiles are all very high quality. They supply you with anything you need from Helmet to Waterproof shoes, goggles, gloves, etc if you don't have all the equipment. All the guides seemed to be very friendly. Thanks Andy for showing us a great time! Andrew and Alicia from California

“A little disappointing.”
Reviewed August 13, 2012 via mobile

We had experienced a fantastic afternoon's rafting with Chinnook Rafting whilst in Banff so wanted to have another go whilst in Whistler.
We felt that Wedge Rafting did not create the fun sense of occasion that we had experienced in Banff. It felt rather industrial with numerous groups going out in a day.
We did the Green River which is an hour on the water. However this includes a not inconsiderable time on the lake going through safety procedures and practising paddling etc. once you reach the rapids they are great but seem very short. It felt no time at all until the guide was showing us where we were to get out.
Each group has to carry their raft back to the on their heads. There were only five of us (as two of our passengers were children) and I found it very uncomfortable.
I have given the experience three stars as the rapids while they lasted were very good but the overall experience was rather poor.

Hello Wendy, thank you for taking the time to write a review. As Whistler's premier adventure company, we take each and every comment very seriously. While the Green River is definitely our most popular tour, it does not have as much time on the river as our Elaho River experience (which is 3 hours on the water), as there is un-raftable water below where we take out. Also, please just let our guides know if you are not physically able to do something (like carrying rafts). We NEVER make people do anything they are not comfortable with. That's why we hire the strong lads - to do the heavy lifting! I hope that the next time you are in Whistler, you give our team a chance to show you a 5 STAR experience from start to finish!
