Great breakfast here. We loved the pancakes and the French toast. Very good pricing for what you get too. The view while you have breakfast of the lake is amazing

We ate at Aura on New Years Eve. We booked well in advance and reserved a table for 8.00pm. The food chosen (from a set menu) was average and over-priced. Our first 3 courses were rushed even though the restaurant wasn't full and we had to complain to our server about this. We left without finishing our desert and prosecco, both of which we took up to our room. This was in stark contrast to breakfast, which was excellent and laid back. We can't recommend and doubt if we'd have an evening meal there again.

We stayed in this hotel and hot breakfast at Aura was included. This was a nice benefit and was delicious with great service. However we had Christmas dinner for an 85 dollar per person fixed price meal. I understand that for the staff working on Christmas they had to get a premium but this was crazy for an ordinary meal that did not excel. The part that my family really found amusing was the first course of charcuterie. It consisted of one thin slice of salami, a tiny cube of cheese and a single cornichon and a sprig of parsley. We said nothing because it was Christmas but the four of us thought we were in a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode because we could not believe a fine restaurant would put out something like this. The rest of the meal was good for say 50 dollars max and a 10 dollar premium for Christmas but 85 was a rip off.

Came to aura for a second time because our first time was amazing for their 4-course special. This visit was quite disappointing. Our server was extremely slow to the point it was awkward. After being seated with menus took forever for him to come back to take the order. Dishes took long to clear, dessert menu took forever to come afterwards, bill took forever and we had to get up and ask to pay because he never came back. Food was okay but had to eat when I got home because my entree was really unfulfilling considering the price. Wouldn't go back based on tonight.
