“Best choice for Whistler”

This is a great location to bring your family all year round. Hiking is at your back door as is biking, with a short bike ride along a paved route or a 5 min drive to Whistler Village. You have a grocery store and BCL store across the road as well as Starbucks and Boston Pizza. This is also a true ski-in, ski-out resort. It doesn't get any better than this.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. It has easy access to the ski hill which are just steps away as this hotel is located at the base of Creekside. The units are extremely spacious with great amenities.

Room Tip: Select a unit on floor 5 or 6 on the Creekside - they have super high ceilings and are quieter.

Legends is located at Whistler Creekside. This hotel is great all year round. It is in a quiet section of Whistler but it is in a great location. There is a grocery store, Boston Pizza and Starbucks just across the street. If you are planning to ski in the winter, Legends is at the foot of Creekside Gondola -- ski-in and ski-out. The ski lockers are just steps away from the gondola. There is even a ski school on the premises. In the non-ski season, there are trails across the highway for a nice stroll or bike ride around Whistler. You will need a car or have to use public transit, though, to go to Whistler Village. The Greyhound bus stops in front of Legends. That's ideal for skiers who do not want to drive to Whistler.

My friends and I have stayed at the Legends three times now during the spring season. We love it so much we have made this our annual trip.

We have always stayed in a 2-bedroom unit with 2 bathrooms. It is very spacious. The units with an even number are on the creekside (quieter side of the hotel) and the odd number units are facing the pool. We usually request unit 320. It is close to the elevator and we can hear the water from the creek if we open the patio door and we also get a view of the mountains. The king size beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. You need to bring your own condiments. Coffee is available to guests on the first day. The hotel staff is very helpful and will try to provide us with kitchenware that is not in the unit. The exercise room is ok. We love the large hot tub on the pool deck-- water is hot! There are 2 BBQs for guests to use on the patio, too.

I would recommend Legends to anyone who wants a quiet and relaxing time at Whistler.

Room Tip: Unit 320 is close to the elevator and on the quieter side of the hotel.

Legends at Creekside, Whistler is a great place to stay. Stunning vistas of Whistler Mountain with black bears making regular appearances on the slope. Hiking, biking or just a short walk to Alta Lake, it is all within minutes of Legends. Several golf courses just a short drive away. Workout facilities and pools on site. Shopping for groceries can be done right there; also restaurants nearby. Check-in is easy and done very professionally. Susan and I have stayed there many times over the years, and we enjoy the outdoor bbq area and also the short walk to Dusty's pub. We shall definitely return.

Room Tip: 405, which has a straight view up the slope, is a few minutes walk from the gondola (you can see the...

The full kitchen, living room, and enclosed bedroom was more like a suite than a hotel. We both enjoyed our stay and would definitely return shortly :) both the bedroom and living room had a tv which is great because my gf loves to eat junk food and watch tv in bed.

Room Tip: Both the living room and bedroom had TVs

Nothing but good things to say about Legends Hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful, allowing us to check in an hour early and helped with any enquiries we had.

The hotel is very well located, just a few km away from Whistler Village and away from all the hustle and bustle. However, there is still everything you need on your doorstep, be it groceries, dining, alcohol etc.

We stayed in the one bedroom suite, which was extremely spacious, with lovely high ceilings. It was very clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. The on site pool, hot tub and bbq area is very nice also, but very family orientated (as if the hotel in general). So if loud kids annoy you, you may want to avoid this area (but there is an adult only hot tub, which was busy when we went).

If I am being picky all I could say is I was surprised that they charged $15 per day for parking, which we found out at check in (cheeky!) and the cleaners seemingly come very early. I was embarrassingly caught watching the football in nothing but my boxers and eating breakfast when the cleaners entered at 9:30am. Admittedly I didn't put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, but I expected the cleaners to be going around no earlier than 11am (the check out deadline)

Overall though, the hotel is a great getaway from the hectic Whistler Village. I wouldn't recommend it for any young partiers, it is more family inclined

We stayed here with out of town family for one night. We rented a 2-bedroom suite and our family rented a 1-bedroom suite next to us. Huge rooms, great kitchen, comfy beds. Most importantly - it was CLEAN. The pool area is wonderful, with a large hot tub, barbeque area, pool, adult-only area. There is also an amenity area inside with a pool table, kids' play room, theatre, etc. Overall this is a great property and we will continue to stay here in the future. Even though we had to pile into the car to go into the village, the value and cleanliness of this hotel is worth the added effort.
