“Great ski area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2014

But if you are used to Colorado snow (as I am) you will need to get used to the heavy and wetter coastal snow. Definitely took some adjusting and set me back a little in terms of ability. Good learning experience though and the setting and entire ski area is great

“Amazing in the winter...Better in the summer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2014

If you love the outdoors, skiing, snowboarding, golf, hiking and biking you really must put whistler blackcomb at the top of your to do list. Summer or winter this place is beautiful, fun and only a couple of hours drive from Vancouver along the scenic why. There is a large number of festivals on throughout the year and after big days spent on the mountain followed by even bigger nights in the staggering amount of bars they have, you have a multitude of fantastic accommodation only a short stroll away. If you ever have the opportunity to go...make sure you do.

“Still the best in my book”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2014

I have been skiiing here for the past 30 years, only missed 2010, the Olympic season.
Consistency of snow, is a big feature, you can have what you like by going to another part of both Mountains depending on weather, temps, and sunlight.
I still have not experienced every run listed in the small guidebook, each year I add 3 or 4 more.
Guest experience staff are always tops.
The new Crystal chair on Blackcomb eliminates the long run out on Glacier road from Ridge Runner, and takes you back up quickly for another run, sorry to see the old 3 seater go however

“Rip off”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2014

Unfortunately, I brought my brother and his girlfriend from Toronto to BCs, and one of the worlds, worst ski resort. Over 100 dollars a day, for rainy, foggy, terrible ski conditions for 4 days straight. Our hotel triple charged us. Right at 4 pm the Rendevouz rest at top of Blackcomb rudely kicks you out in the cold. The list goes on and on, I will not boor you. Spend your hard earned dollars at the many other BC ski resorts and the porte du soliel, switzerland, where they treat their customers with respect. Whistler has a bad attitude, don't go.
