A world-class experience combined with a truly international culture and unbelievable boarding/skiing. Many other activities and very good selection of restaurants, shops and hotels.
Get the Edge Pass and apply any rentals to it - SUPER easy system they have figured out. Very good incorporation and partnerships with hotels (Fairmont at least - great experience).

Great place, lots of terrain and grooming. I was unlike to not get an powder days, but enjoyed the groomers and scenery.

Stayed at Creekside and enjoyed the convenience and terrain.

As an American, the blues are blacks, the greens are blues...prepare yourelf physically. Peak to Creek is AWESOME (& more than intermediate). This place knows what they are doing: there is ski patrol and slow patrol and if you like a good LONG run....ski here

Over 100 runs. Amazing conditions. And really good amenities. Some preference for Blackcomb over Whistler, but both are really special. Also helps/helped that we are here off-season so slopes are not over trafficked. Go up to the glacier on Blackcomb/7th Heaven. Grrrrreat! Not cheap skiing, but spectacular!

Whistler is amazing. I have travelled a few mountains in Europe, Asia, Australia and NZ - this would have to be, without a doubt - the best place I have ever been.
Everyone is helpful, friendly and happy.. the snow is great, the mountain amazing, instructors fantastic.. and the party and nightlife - well lets just say you might have to pace yourself if you are actually going to get up in the morning and enjoy the snow.
My friend has been telling me to visit for years - now I think it will be a once yearly track to enjoy the ski season.
