It's great for whatever type of skier or boarder you are - just bring layers for the unexpected weather that can sometimes happen.

“What a fabulous day we had in Whistler !!”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

We took the Pacific coach (seniors' fare) from mid town Vancouver to Whistler - trip was about 2.5 hours - along the Sea and Sky Highway. What a pleasure, the scenery was amazing. Coach stopped at the Canadian border, every one had to get off and collect their own luggage which was lined up on the pavement and take it to Customs. Our passports were stamped and we returned our luggage to the hold in the coach - all done in the space of 20 minutes. There is a lovely shop / cafe at the Border if you need a snack or drink, and toilets.

Whistler is a quaint ski resort town, full of lovely shops, and of course the gondolas which take you up to the mountain. The temperature was only 13 degrees and we weren't dressed warmly enough - what a great excuse to have to go and buy long sleeve fleece tops.

We had booked tickets for the Peak to Peak Gondola Tour and it was wonderful going up in the gondola and seeing Whistler from up there. The views are spectacular so don't forget your cameras! At the first Peak we had lunch in the Restaurant (lovely hot soup and rolls) walked around a bit and then returned to the gondola station for the trip across to the 2nd Peak at Blackcomb. It started to snow - the temp was only -3 degrees up there - but coming from SA we were thrilled to see the snow. At the top of the 2nd Peak there is another lovely restaurant.

After we arrived back in the village, we shopped a bit more and at 4pm our coach arrived to take us back to Vancouver. The scenery travelling back was so special with the reflection of the sun going down on the lakes. Pacific Coach was great !! Have no hesitation in booking them on line.

“Awesome Scenery”
Reviewed November 7, 2012

Our visit coincided with clear skies. The scenery was incredible and the trip was well worth the queue at ground level. The trip Peak to Peak has to be experienced to be believed. Do not miss it.

“Breathtaking”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

WE took the jeep tour up to the glacier at the end of the summer season, the view really does take your breath away. It is so hard to imagine the mountain covered in snow, the runs are all marked out and some of the drops are like jumping off the edge of a cliff, I can oly imagine how exciting it must be to ski down.
