Cycling on the village trail was a great but the signage was a little confusing for getting to Green Lake from Lost Lake.

We LOVED the peak-to-peak experience this summer at Whistler/Blackcomb. Since we are not skiiers, it was our opportunity to enjoy the mountain's beautiful scenery and get to the summit on the gondolas & ski lift and then experience the Peak-to-Peak gondola from Whistler to Blackcomb. Stunning vistas! Our back yard since we are from the Greater Vancouver region.

We made a quick one day trip to Whistler in B.C.......With such a short time, we decided to take the gondola up to the top of Whistler, and then did the Peak to Peak across to Blackcomb mountain. That was when our gondola became "A Room with a View" we were open mouthed at the grandeur of the mountains and the glaciers, absolutely breath taking. We had a snack at the outside terrace on Blackcomb , where Whiskey Jacks flew onto our fingers and took the bread we offered. Back down at the village, we spent an hour strolling around the great stores and Art galleries. It was all too short, but very, very enjoyable. We hope to visit again, and do some of the hiking trails.

I think it is the best in north america. one of the best in the world. one of the cool things is you can ski in your shirt sleeves in feb here, as the ocean air keeps the temp moderate, and ensures lots of moisture for constant new snow. the down side? it is one of the most expensive places I have ever visited. it is beautiful, with year round extreme sports happening.

In the summer and fall months the hiking is great. There are trails from beginner to experienced levels. There are nights where they have a mountain top buffet which is great after a day of hiking. Going up the gondola just for the dinner is good, as well, with great views all around.
In the winter the ski runs are fantastic.
