Got a great deal on Groupon. Hotel room is clean, modern and nicely decorated. It's a small hotel, but lobby was charming and stylish. Liked that bathroom was stocked with Aveda products. White Spot across the hotel is a great place for breakfast. Didn't have the chance to use any of the amenities.

This hotel is well located as it is just a 3 minutes walk until you reach the village. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers reasonable parking ($ 19 per night) which can even be extended till the evening of check out date. The room was bright, clean and definitely big enough for 2 or 3 people.

Unfortunately this hotel doesn't offer breakfast. But there is a Whitespot right on the other side of the street.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel. It was perfect for our stay in winter wonderland.

Room Tip: You should request a room in the upper floor with mountain view. It is amazing.

I stayed here while attending Cornucopia (Whistler’s Food and Wine Celebration) I was pleasantly surprised with the value and quality of this hotel! I paid a rate of 107$ for a king room on the Saturday night while other Whistler hotels on the same night were MUCH more pricey. The room was lovely modern and crisp; triple sheeting, iDock, plush robes, very comfortable bed. The bathroom was perfect as well: lots of counter space, fabulous amenities, great shower (no tub-which I prefer). Our neighbors in the room next to us kept us up but it was the night of the wine tasting gala and it is Whistler. The staff at the hotel was very friendly, parking was self park 19$ per night and they let us park all of Saturday and Sunday, very nice. I will definitely stay again and I would highly recommend this hotel! Aava Hotel totally exceeded my expectations.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for a quiet room in Whistler if you are sensitive to noise

I stayed here early November, it was off peak so the price was excellent. The hotel is quite contemporary so this makes it feel a bit cold. However, the rooms are clean, nice HDTV's and you have everything you need. The staff are really friendly. Very small but nice fitness room, dry sauna, hot tub and heated pool. They are pet friendly and you can leave the pet unattended in the room when you go out to events where they can't join you, huge plus. The walls are thin so if your neighbors are a bit loud you can definitely hear them. The location is awesome, just cross the street and up a set up stairs and you are in the heart of the village. I had some friends stay at Blackcomb at the same time and they realized their place was not near as convenient. The only negative is the cost of the parking, $19 a day, this kind of takes a way from the good value. I certainly plan on staying here again, hopefully I will make it up next summer to take advantage of more activities.

My partner and I stayed here in October, during the down season, so prices were at a special rate (which was very cheap!). Overall our stay was pleasant, comfortable and enjoyable. Everything was in order in the room. Since if was off-peak, it was really quiet so we didn't experience any high levels of noise. Location was excellent, right next to the village. I requested a mountain side view which we received (a beautiful view).

The only thing I would say is that the hotel does not have a laundry (only dryers), and there is no public laundry mats in the village, you would have to drive out (5-10mins) to Creekside which has the nearest laundry. Since we didn't rent a car, this was inconvenient and a taxi ride costs roughly $10-$12 one way.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a mountain view.

As a longtime resident of Vancouver, I've stayed in whistler many nights. Just tried this hotel through a deal find. Great clean, hotel with no hassle. Has nice gym hot tub, sauna although they could turn up heat in hot tub a tad. Location is good. If you don't want to pay for 5* but have a comfortable place to sleep. Parking around is good but costs $19/night. Staff was polite but no one went out of their way although we didn't need/expect this.
