A little pricey and would of thought a side would be included in the price, steak was excellent and the rubs are a great idea and point of difference!

“Still a good choice.....”

Having visited Sidecut last summer for a few meals we were excited to return this summer. It is still a good choice but there's something missing this year. We have eaten there twice so far and it was good - just not off the hook good. The house made spice rubs and steak sauces are great. All the ingredients are fresh and there is a great wine list.
We had the NY one night and the Rib Eye the next and they were good, just not great. The open face ravioli is unreal though - amazing flavors and the Caesar salad is great.
Maybe the difference is the floor management. Last year Beade made sure that our dining experiences hit that next level of excellence. This year there doesn't seem to be any management on the floor and there is no extra level of service.
With that said it is definitely a great choice in Whistler - there are not as many great dining options as you would think so this is still worth a visit.

“Breakfast Buffet”

The typical spread of a hotel breakfast buffet for $32/pp. However, kids 5 and under eat free so it was worth it for us, as I can see from the menu that a stack of pancakes would already cost you $21. Service was excellent and very friendly.

“Great Steaks and perfect setting”

Stayed at the Four Seasons and tried their Steakhouse for our anniversary dinner and it was awesome. Great service and beautiful restaurant with both indoor and outdoor fireplace.

“I love the breakfast buffet”

I love sitting for a breakfast buffet going back for fruit and coffee and then eggs and sausage. There were lots of servers to keep items filled, and sitting at the Sidecut, viewing the grounds was a pleasure
