“Glacier Hike”
Reviewed July 29, 2012

Two sons, 18 & 16, went on this hike and loved it. Went same day as we did Peak to Peak as you need lift tickets to get to where the hike leaves from. It is right near the Peak to Peak. Got their ice picks, harness, day packs & were off. Three hour hike up through the snow and ice. Brought a sack lunch to eat at top of the glacier. Said they really had a great time. Was four in the group plus the guide. Said the group decided to do a slide down the mountain on the way back and it was "awesome". Reasonably priced and a great experience that you don't always have the opportunity to do.

“Via Ferrata = Awesome!”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

Went on the Via Ferrata tour with Chelsea.... What an amazing time! Not for the unfit or people who are scared of heights. Definitely a workout, and a little scary for those of us who aren't rock climbers. But super fun and amazing. Chelsea was a great guide.... well worth the money, Highly recommended!

“Glacier Hike - Highlight of Whistler Vacation”
Reviewed June 30, 2012

What a thrill. The hike was about 1.5 miles up to the top of the mountain. Snow was plentilful in late June, yet sun was shining. Perfect combination. Ollie, our guide led us up the mountain. Parts of the hike were challenging, as we ascended the slope which part of the way was at a 45 degree slope. The view at the top was spectacular. Once you get back down to the base of the slope, you wonder how you actually got to the top. Boots, helmet, and ice pick provided.

“Via Ferrata was Amazing!”
Reviewed September 17, 2011

We had an incredible time on this excursion. You hike to the base of Whistler Summit and then climb the rock face using rungs that have been drilled into the rock. It is kinda scary, but very safe and very empowering! Our guides, Ollie & Daniel, were fantastic. I highly recommend this on your next trip to Whistler.

Great way to experience some backcountry safely without having to buy all the gear. We did a one-day "Beyond the Lifts tour". Expert guide gave us safety instruction and skiing tips as well. I went on a tour a couple of years ago and it was spectacular. This time there was too much snow (oh, the irony) to do any of the bowls but they found an amazing area in the trees and it was still an incredible day. Well organized, great people, highlight of our Whistler trip. It does get expensive with equipment rental and lift pass but for such an experience it was well worth it.
