Price is crazy for what you get. One plug in the room to use for the lap top and it's under a table on the far side of the room. House keeping didn't clear the alarms so at 4am the previous guest had me awake at 4AM! Kids running up and down the hall late at night and early in the morning. $18 for poor parking! Price is out to lunch for what you get. This should be a $89-99 a room place not $150-250 and even at that i've had better service and more caring stafe at a lower priced hotel. Very sad, will never stay there again.

Last 10 years, I often used this hotel for good location and clean room, but I wonder this is under the new management now. For this price, I did not expect five-star service but I did not expect to sleep in a smelly (probably cigarette and many wet sky jackets?) room and use bathroom with very smelly shower curtain and broken hair dryer. The front guy was very unfriendly, no smile on his face at all and not very efficient. (but bell boys and cleaning lady were nice) Very LOW speed internet and inconvenient valet parking. I will not come back again.

We booked this on a spur of the moment and were pleased with the choice. It is well located with a very short walk to the gondolas and lifts in Whistler Village. It is clean and well kept. The only thing was the restaurant/club had a party going on that one could hear fairly easily in our 2nd floor room. Service was super friendly and made good recommendations for activities. We only stayed one night but they offered to have us shower and change clothes in their fitness center after a day of skiing despite having checked out.

My partner and I came to Whistler for the Winter Pride week and were originally booked in to another hotel in the village, after spending our first 2 nights sleepless at out first choice we were told about the Listel. Formerly a best western we were sceptical of the Hotel, but after walking in and recieving the friendliest smile and hello in a while we decided to cancel our current booking and stay here. The price was a little more but the service and having the Bear Foot Bistro with in arms reach made up for the difference. Overall our week started of poor, but ended on an amazing high.

anyone looking to come to Whistler should definately give this little gem a try

The Listel is a no-frills hotel with a great location in the Whistler village. It is a 3 minute walk to the lifts or anything else in the village. The hotel is clean with basic rooms (think Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn type rooms). There is a restaurant and a bar in the hotel (didn't try it) free wi-fi, 2 public computers, hot tub/pool, and a ski valet. There is also a Starbucks right around the corner. This is a good hotel if you are budget minded and want to be close to everything.

We stayed at the Listel in Whistler back in December and absolutely loved it. The overhight parking was perfect for our truck and difficult to find. The location was close enough to everything, about a 3 minute walk to the lifts and within seconds from the grocery store, restaurants, and a few night clubs... yet it was surprisingly tucked away enough to be quiet and hidden. The bathroom was HUGE and the towel warmer was a nice touch. Bed was very comfy and the thick curtains kept the morning sunshine out of the room until we were ready to wake up. Overall this was a great stay!

Stayed at the Listel for the first time in January. What a great hotel! I have been going to Whistler for years and stayed at different places but I am very happy and impressed by the Listel hotel. The staff were very gracious, the rooms were clean, beds comfortable, awesome location, the value was great for ski season. And the best was having someone take our ski's, no hauling them down to the garage area and a locker. I was very happy with my stay and plan to stay here many more times!
