We got in around midnight on Wednesday for a few days of skiing, and we were upgraded from a queen to a king which was a pleasant and welcome surprise. The room was very clean and modern while still being comfortable, and I loved how mindful they were about laundry and recycling (New Yorker here, sorry). Some eclectic EDM was playing (our favorite) and there was a fireplace hologram below the tv. The smell in the room was amazing, and similar to the great built-in toiletries. The shower was perfect, and a little rubber duckie at the ready if needed. My back isn't great and I often have trouble sleeping in hotels, but this bed was incredible. There were also five small-ish pillows that weren't absolutely necessary, but they were very welcome after a couple of days on the mountain. The heated pool, hot tub, and sauna were great, though I wasn't a fan of the hot tub smell. It was also often packed which might explain the smell. Luckily we're more sauna and pool then back to sauna folks. Robes in the room and towels at the front desk were very nice, though I'm not sure if they had slippers available if need be (we actually remembered our flip flops for once). They also had a wine tasting in the lobby at one point, and free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate every day. All of the staff members we spoke to throughout our stay were warm and welcoming, even if we were just passing by. They also were kind enough to let my husband use the changing room after we checked out as he got back from the mountain fifteen minutes too late. Absolutely loved our stay, and can't wait to stay here for a week next year!
