This hotel is in right in the middle of Whistler Village. You can walk to all of the restaurants and shops from here. The room is large and very modern. There is a couch and fireplace and a very comfortable bed. There is a cafe for a light breakfast or a restaurant next door for a full meal. It was unfortunate that we only stayed for one night.

The Summit Lodge was well positioned, it is just away from the town centre so little noise and good restaurants and bars adjacent or close by. Its also less than a a 10 min walk to the main ski lifts, or via a regular shuttle run by the hotel. We stored our ski's and boots at the hire shop next to the main gondola and so generally tended to walk. On the odd occasion when we needed a lift Steve the shuttle driver was great and always seemed to be there at the right time.
The hotel itself is lovely and we had a very comfortable room overlooking the pool area and hot tub. A nice touch was someone making free cocktails in the lobby most evenings. However, what makes the hotel truly special is the staff, they were without exception, friendly and informative. They also went the "extra mile", examples: We mentioned at reception that we had a noisy fridge the first night and returned at the end of the day to find it replaced with a new one, I wanted to take a fairly large camera onto the mountain to take some pictures and mentioned to Carly at reception that I would have to buy a small back pack to carry it, her boyfriend subsequently drove in with one that she loaned to us. Staff really do make the difference.

My family stayed at the summit lodge in December to celebrate my birthday! It was such a nice treat to be so close to the village, especially with young children! The employees were all very friendly. Zaldy helped to make the trip extra special for my children by making a bunny out of towels for each of my sons! They really enjoyed them! The candy bar in the lobby was such a great treat for the kids (and myself!)at the end of the day. Coffee bar in the am was a lifesaver! Our room had some nice updates, a cool wall to take some picture in front of (so many selfies!) and the kitchen was great to have for late night snacks! We would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much summit lodge!

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was central to everything and a seven minute walk to the slopes. They also have a shuttle. It is close to Starbucks and many restaurants. You can walk everywhere from Main Street. The hotel served free cocktails on two separate evenings. They have many coffee shops near by. They also have ski rental services that bring skis to the hotel and the store them on premises as well and the price was better than anywhere. The room was nicely appointed and was quiet and comfortable. I had a minor housekeeping issue, but the staff were accommodating. The front desk staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return.

Phil W,

Thank you for writing such a fantastic review of our property.

I am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed so many facets of Summit - namely, where we are situated, our complimentary shuttle service in the winter, complimentary lobby offerings and our front desk team. I am so glad we were able to solve the housekeeping issue!

We love Black Tie Ski Rentals as well - they make the rental process easy and quick with lobby and curb side service!

Hope to see you back at the hotel soon.

We got in around midnight on Wednesday for a few days of skiing, and we were upgraded from a queen to a king which was a pleasant and welcome surprise. The room was very clean and modern while still being comfortable, and I loved how mindful they were about laundry and recycling (New Yorker here, sorry). Some eclectic EDM was playing (our favorite) and there was a fireplace hologram below the tv. The smell in the room was amazing, and similar to the great built-in toiletries. The shower was perfect, and a little rubber duckie at the ready if needed. My back isn't great and I often have trouble sleeping in hotels, but this bed was incredible. There were also five small-ish pillows that weren't absolutely necessary, but they were very welcome after a couple of days on the mountain. The heated pool, hot tub, and sauna were great, though I wasn't a fan of the hot tub smell. It was also often packed which might explain the smell. Luckily we're more sauna and pool then back to sauna folks. Robes in the room and towels at the front desk were very nice, though I'm not sure if they had slippers available if need be (we actually remembered our flip flops for once). They also had a wine tasting in the lobby at one point, and free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate every day. All of the staff members we spoke to throughout our stay were warm and welcoming, even if we were just passing by. They also were kind enough to let my husband use the changing room after we checked out as he got back from the mountain fifteen minutes too late. Absolutely loved our stay, and can't wait to stay here for a week next year!
