“Nice room and location”
Reviewed July 7, 2014

The Summit is fairly reasonable priced and convenient, albeit at the less dense part of the resort. I preferred this location as the eateries were better and more interesting.

The bed and furnishings were clean and nice, but the bathroom is seriously lacking in counter space. It was hard to find a place to put a toothbrush.

Our room, 415, must have been right underneath the elevator machinery because I kept hearing the whirring during the night. I kept thinking I fell asleep in the Tardis or something.

Free coffee was hidden in the bike shop, in case you're wondering, but they also have a Keurig in the room.

Our 4th trip to this hotel and once again we had a terrific time. Friendly & helpful staff. Comfortable and clean rooms and very well appointed. Important to us...our fury friends are always very welcome here. The bike guys in the lobby were also super friendly and helpful. Thanks for keeping this place in my top 10 hotels.

We were there for just one night, so didn't expect the carpet rolled out for us, but every member of their staff went above and beyond. When we had problem with the TV and later with the coffee maker, Arnel and then Miguel were there within 5 minutes and explained how they worked. (Nothing was wrong with either TV or coffee maker; it was our ineptitude. But they were pleasant anyway.) The hotel is perfectly located, central to everything. Courtney and Emilie at the front desk gave us recommendations to the perfect restaurants for dinner and breakfast. They also printed out our Amtrak reservations free of charge. The rooms were clean with little kitchenettes and balconies that overlook the town and mountains, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the staff's sense of humor: They provide a rent-a-fish service; you can choose from two tiny fishbowls and goldfish who have names and come with good references. (We made sure to ask the names of the staff so we could tell their manager how wonderful they had been.)

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony and kitchenette.

Our entire experience was excellent! Courtney and Emilie at the front desk were so very helpful. Arnel and Miguel were there in minutes when we were not sufficiently tech savy to work some of the equipement. The rooms were cozy and very beautiful with great views!

We visited here in June 2014. The place was very nice and at a very reasonable price for a Whistler hotel.
It was fun to look behind the front desk and see what dog the staff was dog sitting. it was a different dog every time we looked.
The rooms were clean quiet and comfortable. All desirable for any hotel stay. The complementary coffee every morning was nice.
We will surely return.

Hi Bergie44

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our hotel. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay, and that you'd like to return.

Yes, it is quite wonderful the dogs that we get to have hang with us in the office here, we are rather fond of our four -legged fur friends.

We hope to see you again to enjoy and coffee with us, and maybe a hot chocolate in the winter! :)

What a fabulous hotel. First of all, they upgraded us to a king corner suite, then we walked into our room and there was a card, wishing us happy anniversary, along with a special treat...chocolate! Our puppy's name was on their welcome board, their cleaning staff were absolute gems, the sweet rottie at the front desk greeted us ever so graciously, all of this made our weekend away very memorable. We would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks everyone!

Room Tip: The king corner suite was wonderful!

Been home two weeks now and wish I was still there. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for two weeks which was very spacious and clean. I don't understand the reviews about the beds being uncomfortable our bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in away from home. The location of the hotel is great in quiet area yet close to the village. The only down side was the price they charge for car parking but there is public car parking 10 minute walk away which is alot cheaper.
