I have stayed at this hotel twice now and it will continue to be my first choice when in Whistler. Love the coffee machine in lobby, the attached restaurant 'Elements' is awesome- great breakfast and dinner menu. Also love the addition of free bike rentals, and Mark is extremely helpful. Have recommended this hotel to a number of friends based primarily on the fact that there are free bike rentals (which are brand new cruisers).

This was my family's third time staying here for the RBC's Grand Fondo which is a bike race from downtown Vancouver to Whistler a distance of 122 Kms.
Once again we found this pet friendly lodge met all our expectations. Our room overlooked the pool and our granddaughters really enjoyed the pool. They also took advantage of the free bike rentals that comes with the room.
Our room with a king sized bed, had a mini kitchen which included a stove, a micro oven, a mini frig. The new addition of the keurig coffee maker was a pleasant surprise and came in very handy.
I definitely will and have recommended the Summit Lodge to our friends.
My only negative comment is the need to have the Lodges' Disabled parking areas marked up on the wall as well as floor. As a person with a Disabled parking tag it is disappointing to see cars without Disabled tags parked in areas designated for Disabled parking. I have requested the Lodge for better signage each time I have stayed here over the past three years. Hopefully they get around to doing it soon.
I look forward to spending more time at the Summit Lodge in the near future.

A newly retired friend and I came to Whistler to celebrate. For the most part, this hotel met our needs. the room is nicely done, well-equipped, very comfortable, and a great size. the balcony is a nice feature. We also found that the Elements Restaurant in the hotel, to be very good.
However, there is room for improvement. The hotel seems to be operating without an environmental program (no reminders to hang your towels for another use, no recycling, and no low flush toilets - though I think the lights are low draw). There is evidence everywhere in Whistler of a 'focus' but not here. The frustration was the extremely low speed and dropped wireless. Will return and hope for these improvements.

Thank you very much for your review! We do consider ourselves to be an environmentally friendly hotel. We felt that the signs we had displayed were not working so we decided to change our approach to “going green”. In the past year we have redesigned our water system so that water is only heated when it is needed which has greatly reduced our energy usage. We have also switched cleaning companies and our now working with Spring Clean Whistler, who use only 100% natural products.

Thank you very much for your feedback and we will continue to strive to be more and more environmentally friendly.

We arrived here for sadly 1 night only, we visited the information centre & they advised this Hotel as this is located just on the outside of the village centre about 5min walk if that, what a find we have room 333 corner facing black mountain, more than we could ask for, kitchen, king bed, balcony, all the comforts and close to the hype of whistler. Staff are excellent.

From easy online booking, and friendly staff over the phone made booking our accommodations a breeze! The lady who took our reservation was knowledgeable about the specials and very friendly when we met her in person upon arrival.

The king-sized bed was cozy and comfy, and the air conditioning in the room was much appreciated in the summer. The kitchenette was a nice touch, however we did not use it as our stay was short. The welcome sparkly wine and Rogers chocolates were a romantic touch, and enjoyed very much.

The Summit Lodge is very dog friendly, and the suggested dog sitting services on the Summit Lodge website, Whistler Dog Sitters, was a great service! Our little puppy Rascal came back from his nature walks exhausted and happy while we were luxuriating in the Taman Sari Spa onsite at The Summit Lodge. The spa was divine, the 60 minute massage and 30 minute body scrub was luxurious, and my skin was so soft afterwards. We enjoyed our spa experience, the ladies made our experience amazing. The tip is already included in the price.

Breakfast at Elements was delicious, but arrive early before 9pm or there will be a wait! We really enjoyed our stay, and will go back next time we are in Whistler!

This was our second time staying at the Summit. Trying to keep our costs down and this works for us. However, we certainly dont feel as if we're missing out on anything! Anyone who is looking for a budget-friendly place to stay in Whistler........this is the place. The staff are SO helpful and the rooms are comfy and clean and nicely decorated. The pool is outdoors along with the hot tub. The location of the hotel.....about a one minute walk to the Village Stroll makes for a restful sleep. Would stay here again!

We stayed at The Summit lodge and spa for our honeymoon in january. The room was amazing, the location was good, the staff were very friendly and offered great service, the spa was very good and in general we had a fantastic stay.
If I was to complain about anything it would be that the bathroom was small and very cold. However the general experience of the hotel and staff was so great that I would definately recommend the hotel if you want good accommodation for a reasonable price in Whistler.
