We have been going to Whistler for years, travelling with our 2 dogs, and discovered Summit a couple of years ago. Now it's the only place we stay. The hotel is great with clean and spacious rooms, and is well situated. The staff are wonderful, and Emma (manager I think) has been super helpful. Several hotels allow dogs -- Summit welcomes them. There is a VIP board in the lobby with all the registered pets, and staff like Andrea at the front desk who is clearly delighted to see the dogs and showers them with treats. For those of us with furry kids, it is nice to have them welcomed and not just tolerated. We'll definitely keep coming back!

We have stayed at the Summit, twice in the last 3 months.
The first stay (Aug 2012), we were so impressed, that we came back a second time in Oct 2012.
Great staff, very pet (2 dogs) friendly, and loved the coffe machine in the lobby.

Room Tip: The second time we stayed at the back of the hotel, overlooking the pool area, and the park. It was...

We just returned from a long weekend in Whistler to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This is one of the nicest, friendliest hotels in Whistler AND our dog was able to stay for free. Room service brought us some local chocolates for our anniversary and our dog was treated like a prince with special treats and a dog loving staff. We will definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to our friends. Thanks for making our special weekend even more special.

Whistler was the final leg of our trip, we had a friend who had stayed at this hotel and recommended it, so we took her advice. The check in process was quick, very welcoming, friendly and painless, and our room was ready though we checked in 40 mins. early, nice that we could relax straight away after the long trip down from Banff. The lobby has a nice open modern feel to it with complimentary coffee, and our room was very well equipped, clean, inviting and relaxing. We did find that our t.v and our fridge weren't working that evening, however as soon as we called guest services almost immediately a maintenance person was at our door. He(Jan?) had everything fixed in minutes, and he was most friendly with us. He recommended to us some sights outside of Whistler town for us to visit as we had a car, and they did not disappoint! We hiked Joffer lakes and narn falls, both stunning places, we made the most of the exceptional October weather. We were surprised to see dogs in the hotel, but we didn't hear one single bark during our two nights stay. Cleaning staff were very courteous and friendly. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna in the evenings, and our breakfast in the restaurant 'Elements' was excellent! Overall very happy with our stay, a nice way to finish our travels in BC.

Room Tip: Choose pool side room, facing away from the street for a bit more peace.

Travelled up from Vancouver with my wife and two friends whilst on vacation from UK. The hotel was an instant hit with us being so centrally located and with a warm welcome at the front desk. The rooms were awesome, large, clean with everything a traveller could want, the only downside was the surprise we had on signing out, and being charged $20 per night for parking. But, this was only a small issue. We used the swimming pool and jacuzzi on a cold evening but was great fun being so warm whilst the weather was so cold..!! Was also amazed that the hotel was so dog friendly, no smells or suggestion of dogs anywhere, well done on this....

Every room has a well equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking. The room is very clean and the service is great. We were on honeymoon so we got a small present on our room, we really appreciate that. From 7 to 9am and 3 to 6pm you get cappuccino, latte machiatto, moccachina and any kind of flavoured coffee you like for free in the lobby. The sauna, hot tube and pool are nice as well. Really nice and centrally located hotel for a good price.

We stayed there this past weekend to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and could not have had a better time! We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff, and were even given a free upgrade! The room was beautiful, complete with Champagne and Chocolate..AND a card wishing us a happy anniversary! I am a person who appreciates the little touches and this did not go un-noticed. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast we had included in our package at Elements was fantastic! I cannot say enough about our experience! I highly reccomend this as a wonderful place to stay while in the Village. We will be back!

Room Tip: We have read from other reviews that some rooms facing the Village side can be a bit noisy at night...
