The only plus of this hotel are location and room quality. Other than that, it won't work for families with young children. Rooms are insanely small (have to turn sideways to get into bathroom because of toilet stopping door), stairs are very steep with children and the lofts would make any parent with a toddler or child insane with worry (they look right over the living room, but the bed is pushed up against the wall, so any child could look over easily). If you are going with a group, there is no living room area for people to visit, and in the studio/hotel room, there is not enough room to even put up a pack and play.
There are no luggage carts, so if you are travelling with gear you have to make several trips. You can hear everything whether you are on the alley side or the village side, and most of our friends had to purchase earplugs the second night to sleep. The other downside is that toddlers/children can open the door even if its deadbolted, so you might be constantly chasing them...
For a couple with no children and no real gear, it might be a good choice.More
