We have spent 10 days here and the service has been excellent. Everybody is very helpful and the room cleaning is spotless. The Crystal lounge bar is great value and the bar food is really nice. The hotel location a ski valet is really good; hotel to gondola via valet is approx 150 meters. This is our second stay and we will most defiantly be back.

We are pleased to hear that you appreciated many of the services The Crystal offers. The Crystal Lounge is well kept locals gem. Next time you will have to participate in their popular Tuesday evening Karaoke Night. Ian

Great staff, Truly a big help to first timers in Whistler. Hotel is in the best location of Whistler village. Dining, bars, shops and also the best of all so close to the lifts. The only down fall to the Crystal was the size of the room was a little small. I would still stay here but was a little tight with all your ski clothes/ equipment. They do have ski and snowboard storage at the base of the mountain which was very nice. All in all a great place to stay in whistler. Also make sure and hit the $0.35 wings in the downstairs bar. It's a nice cheap lunch compared to the high priced food everywhere else.

Fantastic location in the heart of Whistler Village. Room was well appointed and in good condition.

Staff were fantastic, and always quick to solve any problems that came up.

Would recommend them, and intend to stay there again.

This hotel is amazing. I was able to stay in a room with vaulted ceiling and I felt like I was in the Swiss Alps in a romantic lodge. Very nice room and tastefully decorated.

The services here and the amenities they have make it a great place to be. Everything you need is at your fingertips. I like the fact that I can walk to the mountain in 5 minutes and then for dinner in 5.

Great hotel. Will stay here again!

Not the first time and for sure not the last time! Whenever we stay in Whistler Crystal Lodge with its marvellous location is always one of our favourite loacations to stay. Minutes from the slopes in middle of the village! Rooms are excellent and available foodcations are excellent. We love the Breakfast at Mix's.
Only down point is the Hot Tub / Spa arrangement not being up to todays standards.

I stayed here with my husband and another couple and we had a brilliant time. Our friends did ask to be moved rooms on the first night as it was a bit noisy from the street but it was fine for us (plus it was a saturday night). The staff were always helpful and friendly and were always able to answer our questions.
There are a couple of restaurants downstairs so you don't need to leave the hotel. There is a place to keep your skis/snowboards every night at a hotel at the bottom of the slopes which is free (although you have to go downstairs which is easier said than done in your ski boots). The hotel provides this service and they bring your skis back for you the night before you leave. The hotel is about 2 mins walk to the gondolas. It is right in the village so everything is in walking distance. We stayed in a traditional room which comes with just one king size bed (so we didn't have to pay an extra supplement for under occupancy) and it was ample room for the 2 of us. Very comfy beds too.

Thank you very much for your comments. We will be sure to share your comments with our staff as they are very proud of the standard of service they deliver. As you stayed in one of our traditional rooms, you will be pleased to know that later this summer we are doing extensive upgrades to the washrooms in these suites. Ian

Pluses:
-Nice room (Deluxe Studio)
-Great Amenities (flat screen TV, radio with ipod dock)
-Appliances: toaster, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle, dishes, cups, utensils
-Housekeeping was excellent
-Very conveninet location

Minuses:
-Lousy, lousy, weak water pressure. (Shower was a trickle)
-Snowboard valet less than helpful (Did not take our boards to the Carelton)
-$20/night parking
-Blackout drapes only covered windows. Unfortunately there was no blocking the light coming in from the windows near the cathedral ceiling; which defeated the whole purpose.

Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay. We tried out the heated pool and the hot tub and had a grand time. The staff was helpful with the exceiption of the snowboard valet that refused to take our boards to the Carelton, as is standard procedure. Instead keeping it at the hotel which was kind of inconvenient. The water pressure in the shower was pitiful and the evening staff was unhelpful when we brought that to their attention. For some reason all the lady guest service attendents were polite and helpful, but the men were less so.
Despite these complaints and the $20/night parking fee, we would stay there again and would also recommend it to friends headed for Whistler Blackcomb.

Thank you very much for such detailed feedback. These specifics help us immensely in improving the overall product we deliver. We are pleased to hear that the ‘pro’s’ out-weighted the ‘con’s’ and hope that for future visits we can eliminate the negative points you have so kindly brought to our attention. Ian
