We have stayed at this hotel in the past and really enjoy the location and the amenities. The rooms are well laid out and the staff are friendly. What we did run into this time though was:
-Long Lineups to Check In
-We we checked into a room that was already occupied
-Slow Elevators with arrows indicating direction of travel being broken
-One of the hot tubs was lukewarm
-The breakfast service had massive lineups (20 + Minutes)
-Rooms could have some more substantial blankets and comforters

Was lucky enough to spend the weekend at the Coast Blackcomb Whistler.
The hotel exceeded expectations and was modern and well designed. The rooms were very nice. The kitchen was extremely spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was included and was excellent. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice! We had a great view of the valley!
The staff were superb, very helpful.
Highly recommended destination!

Room Tip: Ask for quiet room with valley view

This place was awesome! We especially enjoyed having the breakfast in the common room. Parking was very easy. The rooms were fantastic. The pool and outdoor area are perfect to end the day! Can't wait to return!

Room Tip: Love the easy access with equipment!

We chose the Coast because of the great deal on a 3 night rate and the fact that it is pet friendly. The suite was spacious and clean-a well appointed kitchen (only thing missing was paper towels and a few extra fry pans). It was very quiet in the suite and the surroundings peaceful. The free shuttle stops right out front which was a huge bonus because the hotel is up in the benchland area. You can walk down to the upper village via the back trail which exits on the ski hill when the weather and light is good-don't think it would be an easy hike in winter! The free breakfast was a bit disappointing mostly due to the setup of the breakfast area. Lots of kids sandwiched into the waffle station, blocking access to everything else, including the use of the toaster. Would strongly suggest that the waffle station be setup somewhere on its own on another counter so that the food area isn't so congested. This aside, it was a great stay with staff that went out of their way to accommodate you.
