“The Standard by Which B&Bs Should be Judged”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2013

We are frequent B&B customers, having stayed at B&Bs all over North America and much of Europe. We have also stayed at Haus Landsberg many times, and have yet to encounter a superior facility. The rooms are modern, large, and well appointed. The breakfasts are varied and prepared to gourmet quality. All this notwithstanding, the most memorable aspect of any stay here is the enthusiastic and thoughtful hospitality.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

Stayed 11/02/13 - 20/02/13 in Alta Lake room.

When we turned up (which by the way was 3 hours before check in time) we were warmly greeted by Heinz who was happy to show us in and introduce us to his wife. After a quick tour of the house he was really enthused to tell us about all the things we could get up to and go out for dinner. He gave us quite a detailed map of the town (which is actually quite small; a good thing) and marked all the places. He did tell us that town was about 15-20 min walk, which isnt too bad; or you can just call a cab which costs less than $10, but he would drop us off at the lifts in the mornings. T

Breakfast was FANTASTIC!!! Starts with Muesli and Fresh cut Fruit (banana, strawberry, apple, pear, grapes) covered in yoghurt. Orange juice or Water, Tea and Coffee. Toast with some of his lovely home-made Mountain Strawberry Jam! After which he informed us that there will be a hot meal to follow :O and every day it was different. Some examples are: Blueberry French Toast w/ Maple Syrup; Omelette&fried potato cubes; Blueberry Pancakes w/ Maple Syrup; Ham, Cheese & Egg Croissants; Some crazy Camembert and Ham filled Toast type thing. They are very creative in what they make for breakfast.
On valentines day they even gave us a few chocolates with breakfast =)

By the time we got back from boarding every day the room would be clean & tidy with all towels replaced and bed made.

The Room we stayed in was very spacious, quiet, home-like and had a nice deep Jacuzzi bath to soak in after a hard days boarding. The Free Wi-Fi is very fast and has excellent signal quality.

Although not included in the package, we asked if we could get washing done during our stay and greatfully, Heinz did it for us twice! Good man!

This is probably the best Bed & Breakfast in the area and will stay again next time we are over.

Thanks for being awesome Hosts!
Samantha & Byron

We stayed for 2 nights at Haus Landsberg B&B and this was our first B&B experience. I had been scouring the internet for accommodations for the Family Day long weekend and came accross Haus Landsberg B&B. I didn't know what to think, as I have always stayed in hotels....

When we arrived Heinz introduced himself and showed us around the house, which really is a magnificent residence. There are a total of 3 rooms and one main dining room, as well as a patio. We stayed in the Family room and there was an abundance of space, Jacuzzi bathtub, and entrance to the patio. Overall the room was easily one of the best I have stayed in. For breakfast they served a two course meal and had great coffee. Everything is hand made for you and is nothing less than phenomenal (We we super surprised at the quality, it really is top notch and easily comparable to a restaurant). Both Heinz and Donna were very friendly and even the other couples staying there were friendly as well; it was a great atmosphere.

Overall I give my first B&B a 5 star it really was top notch, a great price, and I will definitely stay there again in the future. I encourage anyone reading this to do so as well.

Been there form 4 days, and will be the place I'll go next time I come back to Whistler: all rooms have a Jacuzzi, great view on the lake, and mine (I was in the Alta Lake room) had a fireplace and logs to burn. Heinz, the owner, is one of the first inhabitants of Whistler back in the '60s and can recommend great places to go for dinner or for activities. He also cooks an outstanding breakfast, different every morning, with muesli, toasts, eggs, bacon, ham and much more.
Not to mention the fast internet connection via wi-fi, the free parking and the ski storage room.
Only small inconvenient, if you don't have a car, is that the B&B is located 15min walk from the main village, but if you consider the fact that in the village there are only big hotels, this B&B is one of the closest B&B available.
Finally, breakfast, wi-fi and parking are all included in the price, which makes it less expensive than most of the cheap hotels in the village which have all these services on top of the cost of the room.
In a sentence: if you don't want a big hotel, this is the place to go.

Room Tip: Alta lake room has a fireplace you can use.

B&B conveniently placed 5 mins drive from centre of Whistler. My wife and I stayed in the Emerald Forest room which was of a reasonable size, nicely decorated and very clean, there was also a nice deck to sit on. Would liked to have a small fridge and/or tea making facilities, but the breakfast was top notch
Heinz and Donna were both pleasant and helpful so would recommend this B&B

We have enjoyed three beautiful days in this house. The place is nicely located at the end of a cul-de-sac. There are only four rooms, everything is lovely, furniture is new and cleanliness is impeccable.
But above all is the warm hospitality of Donna and Heinz which immediately makes you feel at home.
And the breakfast is really something special. Prepared freshly and served in their beautiful living area. Nothing is missing: Eggs, french toast, toast. muesli/cereals...
If you go to Whistler and don't want a hotel, then this is THE place!
