“Nice easy run”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

This was a nice easy run from the Village. Pretty flat with lots of options to hit some steeper slopes on route to the lake. To see the lake from all sides you have to go down the small trails to the waters edge but otherwise there are a few opportunities to see it. It's easy to extend this run if you go down to Green Lake loop around and reconnect with the Lost Lake Loop.

“Peacful walk”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

Nice lake, quiet (probably because of the time of the year). If you walk/hike to this lake from the North Villiage, get a decent map. The trails are poorly marked and the free maps are not to scale.
Went here in the beginning of October - weather was perfect (though I was told this is very unusual for this time of year)

“Peaceful Walk”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

Join the locals for a late afternoon walk to Lost Lake, or you could go for a swim, (in summer) or just watch the dogs playing while enjoying your thermos of tea or picnic. In autumn the trees turn to firey colours at the park. Look out for the toadlet migrations in the Spring or Fall, when there are hundreds of little chaps on the paths making their way from forest to lake, or back again. Last year we saw a bear in the forest nearby. An essential, lay-back part of Whistler Life to experience.

“Great 1 hour hike”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

This is one of my favorite places in summer and winter. Take the kids for a short walk. You feel like you are away from the village. Swimming in summer is very nice (cold, but nice)
