I would love to be able to give the Chateau Fairmont 5 stars but I can't. The staff are lovely and helpful, the restaurants are fantastic. The problem was the amount of dust in our room! Everything was furred with it: lights, furniture, even the mirror in the bathroom. The maid service was terrible after the first day, so we stopped leaving a tip after day two. Sorry guys. I spend two hundred a week at home for a clean house and expect a hotel of this caliber to at least dust!

Just come back from this hotel, we had a great time from the minute we walked through the door. The hotel staff are all very polite and very helpful to you. Everyone from the bar staff to the service maids all acknowledged you throughout the day.

We stayed on 7th floor facing the slopes, had a great view and no problems with noise.

The spa was great, had a massage and the therapist gave us tips on how to stretch muscles afterwards.

Had breakfast in the wildflower twice. Quite expensive but loads of variety and very at tentative staff.

We also had food in the grill room in the evening, lovely atmosphere and great food. We had tenderloin steak which was cooked to perfection, would highly recommend!!

We used the hot tubs twice, you need to go there early afternoon before the skiers come off the slopes, otherwise it is very busy. There are always staff checking whether you want drinks in the hot tub, nice cold beer while relaxing in the hot tub, nice and relaxing.

Great hotel and would definitely come back again!! Thank you to all the staff!!

Polite front staff and easy registration
Room was pleasant with a great view of Blackcomb mountain.
The ski lift is just out the back and in the evening the staff is ready to take charge of the skiis and hand you hot chocolate.
Breakfast at the Wildflower was excellent in taste and value.

Room Tip: towards the pool and spa makes it easier when tired

Loved my room and being on the Gold Floor. The service is amazing...you feel like you are in your living room eating wonderful food and meeting great people. Staff was fantastic and the food there is just amazing. Breakfast and evening appies were creative and deelish.
