Have just returned from spending 10 nights in February, my second trip to this hotel in three years and it can only be described as 'perfect'. The location is excellent but the customer service from everyone in this hotel far exceeds expectation. I could not recommend this hotel enough to anyone going to Whistler. The rooms are fantastic and the Irish Bar/restaurant downstairs was excellent for breakfast, apres ski and dinner with the friendliest staff around. Can't praise this hotel enough and most certainly cannot wait to return, hopefully next year :)

I'm rating my stay just average because I paid quite a high rate for low season and had a basic room with a king bed. Nothing about the actual hotel, other than the location made my stay memorable.


Pros:
- in the village, the lift, shops and bars are a couple of steps away
- comfortable king bed + pillows
- great view from the pool and hot tub (feels like you are on the slopes)
- Good Wifi

Cons:
- Dated decor in the room, dated pool and hot tubs
- TV / movie system appears to be very old and kept freezing
- Power went out for the whole evening and night, staff did not seem too concerned.
- No ski/board valet
- Room service seems to come from the pub that is attached to the hotel and the food was 4 star quality
- Overall I found the staff to be quite indifferent in their service levels.


I would have given this hotel a higher rating if they did not charge such a high price for the room. At such a cost I would expect better service, food and modern rooms.

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! Our five night stay was fantastic. We will certainly return. Only complaint was that the Pacific Coach dropped us off at the entrance to the village. Transportation to the hotel was not available when we arrived.

Stayed for 4 nights in early February. Awesome hotel! Best location in Whistler. 100 meters from the Whistler Gondola and right on the main avenue. The staff were great. They were all incredibly friendly, helpfull, and warm.

The hotel has a great Irish Bar/ resturant on the ground floor and a nice ski shop on site as well.

The room was nice and I felt the value for Whistler was appropriate.

Been to Whistler 3 times now ( 1st time here) and this is the only place I will stay from now on.

Room Tip: I would recommend a mountain view room.

Have stayed at the Westin in the past. When looking at hotels I was thinking of the 4seasons and thought we would try Pan Pacfic because of the location in whistler village. But prices were comparable to 4 seasons. This was back in November, 2013
The facts: The location is good, but so is the Westin at half the price. The hotel is dated, doesn't have a proper restaurant or room service. Limited amenities and the service is sub par for a hotel charging these types of rates. If they were pricing it closer to the Westin then this would be acceptable but not when comparable to 4seasons. Our next trip we will try the 4 seasons.

Our power went out for a night and we weren't offered anything in compensation. When I brought up the issue of the hotel being out of whack with what it offered for the price (in the most polite possible way) I was basically given a very polite (screw off) back.

As my girlfriend said as I am writing this "It reminded me of a Best Western"

All that being said it is not worth the price for what they offer and considering the lack in service they need a serious update all around or an adjustment of pricing. Save the money and go to the Westin or if you want the service go to the 4seasons where at least they understand how to provide service and they shuttle you to the village, apparently. Will post a review of 4seasons when we go in the spring.

We stayed at the PPM for 2 weeks in February.
The location and proximity to the slopes is excellent and the service and facilities could not be faulted. We had a hot water problem when we arrived it was repaired immediately.
We stayed in a studio apartment and it was very comfortable with a full kitchen and views up the mountain.
The Murphy bed was so comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again when we return to Whistler.
