Our stay was great as soon as we checked in. The front desk staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We arrived early afternoon and our room was not quite ready. The front desk rep made a quick call and the room was ready within minutes. We had a Studio Room which was perfect. Very roomy with a Murphy Bed that was very comfortable. While we were unpacking, the front desk called to make sure we had everything we needed...nice touch!! The kitchenette came in handy to make our eggs benny in the morning. Then it was off to the pool, which was not a bad size with 2 hot tubs. The next day we wanted to go down to Creekside to check out the BBQ competitition via taxi but the taxi took forever to get there. Kevin saved the day by offering us a ride down there.....and picked us up later that day. What great service. We will definately stay here again. Thank you everyone at Pan Pacific Mountainside for a great stay. See you next year!

We just returned from an unbelievable vacation in the mountains of Whistler, BC, Canada.
We stayed at the Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside Resort. The place was beautiful and so welcoming for us. The room, (1 bedroom, mountainside view), the staff at the front desk, the housekeeping staff, everything was top rate!
Our plan had been to spend 2 nights, we extended it to 4 nights. We didn't want to leave!!!!
While we were there, Crankworx Whistler was beginning to get underway. The whole place was hopping with activity, and we saw some unbelievable riders performing things on bikes that were simply amazing. I just wish we could still be there for the RedBull event on Sat. 8/18.
Even with all the activity, everything was tranquil and delightful.
We can't wait to return in the winter for some skiing.

Pan Pacific gets two thumbs-up!!!! A must stay sort of place!

My first time in whistler, and I've lived nearby for over 50 years... Can't say enough good things about this hotel. I was planning on another lower rated hotel because it came up on several sites as the cheapest. My daughter-in-law told me about The Pan Pacific Mountainside. She said she's stayed at several in Whistler and this was the best, so I checked into it further. It was only $10 per night more, but the reviews were far superior to the other place. I was only planning on staying 2 nights, but when I added a 3rd night, the PPM ended up actually costing less than the cheaper place ! I've been to the Pan in Vancouver, and it's amazing, so I figured this would have to be sort of similar. From check in to check out the staff were over the top accommodating and friendly! The room was just as pictured in the photo section. Sometimes wide angle lenses can make it look more spacious, but this depicted the exact look and feel. Also pictures can make rooms seem clean, and no picture can tell you what some places smell like .... but this place look like it had never been used, and had absolutely no odor of any kind... I found a small cosmetic bag under the bathroom sink in a corner, and checked it out. It was obviously left behind from the previous guest, so I took it to the front desk so that they could contact the owner. This was definitely NOT a complaint of cleanliness.. it was most likely overlooked, since the bag was small and out of plain sight. We decided to go for a swim and left for the pool. When we returned there was a card and some very delicious chocolate (bear claw) treats and an apology card signed by all the staff managers etc. I was just trying to be a good citizen returning this bag, (not complaining at all) and the manager went out of his way to correct the situation... [Don't know who it was, but thank you, the chocolates were delicious!]

The pool area was fantastic, with an awesome view of the mountain, and in sun from dawn til dusk... with TWO hot tubs, a eucalyptus sauna and full work-out room !

We never had the chance to eat downstairs at bar/restaurant, but have been told it has awesome food, and great entertainment, which we heard from the pool later at night.

Located at the base of the ski lift and south end of the village is a perfect location for summer or winter !

Stayed for a one night getaway, was allowed a early check in of 12pm rather than 4 o'clock after they dispatched someone to ready our room and then the manager quickly went up to make sure it was up to the hotels standards, which it was. The staff is great and the pan IMO is the best located hotel in the village. The pool is awesome but we were unable to get lounge chairs as they were all taken. Upon check out at 11am we were reminded we could remain parked in the underground and also enjoy the hotels amenities until 6pm! This hotel has exceptional service, great rooms, location plus the pool and the ability to enjoy it until 6pm after 11am checkout. There is many choices in whistler and we have tried many great hotels in the village. Can't wait to return to pan pacific mtn side.

We had a family vacation planned for this hotel and were very happy. The service was great ... the one minor problem we had they resolved quickly. The rooms were on the smaller side but similar in size to other Whistler hotels. The kitchen was great to have especially with a family and younger kids. The location of the hotel in the village was excellent ... next to the Blackcomb base. The pool was nice and overlooked the mountains. Would definitely recommend.
