My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for two nights before heading to a wedding in Squamish. We would definitely return to this hotel as we were impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. We had great weather when we were there and took advantage of the heated pool in the sunshine where guests are allowed to bring drinks down (no glass bottles, of course). We’re considering returning to the Pan Pacific Mountainside this winter as the hotel would be a really good place to stay because it’s so close to the ski hill and just off the Village Stroll.

Dear Guest, thank you for the feedback. Relaxing poolside at the Pan Pacific Mountainside is one of the best spots to enjoy the gorgeous views of Whistler. We are happy to know you were able to unwind in the comfort of your room and with the service from our team. You are right, Pan Pacific Mountainside is the place to be in Winter. This is a really good hotel. It was recommended by my son and I confirm it is a great choice. The rooms are a good size, clean and well equipped, and the customer service from the front desk staff is excellent. I was really impressed with how they handled our request to move rooms when we checked in, and always responded well to requests for local information. My only gripe is the cost of parking. At $25 per night it is steep and I gather the car park is little used. Fortunately there is free parking 5 minutes walk away but I feel if they charged say $10 per night they would get better usage.

Dear Guest, thank you for sharing your feedback with the travel community. We are happy to hear that you found our rooms clean and comfortable and the staff excellent. I do appreciate your comments on the cost of parking at $25.00/ night. As there is currently no free overnight parking in Whistler we aim to provide this service to our guests at a reasonable and competitive price. Thank you again for your comments.

Location couldn't be beat, staff was super helpful, restaurant was good, room was clean and functional. This, however, is definitely a ski-oriented hotel - favoring functionality (e.g., kitchenette) over luxury. We had a great stay, but important to set expectations.

Only suggestions to management is that they use less air freshener in the rooms...we felt like we were sleeping in a bowl of vanilla ice cream.

We stayed in the Valley View Studio room and loved it (2 adults & a 9-month old). The murphey bed was quite comfortable, & super convenient to fold up during the day. We put our daughter's traveller crib halfway in the closet so she could nap/sleep uninterrupted.

The full kitchen was nice for snacks, and the fireplace was great even in the summer!

We were able to walk throughout the Village easily, allowing our group to split up and do our own thing. We never used the car once it was parked the first day!

We ate at the Dubh Linn Gate Pub in the bottom floor for breakfast and dinner on 2 of our days. All of the food was delicious, albeit pricey like everything else. They do have daily specials & nightly music that are worth checking out.

We would highly recommend staying here!

Dear Guest,
Thank you sincerely for your feedback. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us at the Pan Pacific Mountainside. It is great to hear that you appreciated the convenient location along the Village Stroll, and never had to use your car.
Fantastic that you got to take in some of the nightly entertainment offered at the Dubh Linn Gate, while enjoying a meal. It makes for a really fun night out and best of all, a short walk back to your home away from home.
We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.

We had 2 adults and 1 child in a studio suite and it was just the right size. The murphy bed is comfortable. The kitchen has all the utensils you need with salt, pepper, sugar, cream, too. Our small balcony looked over the pool. Although we spent most of our time outside the hotel, it was nice to have a pool, hot tub, steam room to enjoy after a long, active day. Rick at the front desk was cheery and helpful with restaurant suggestions. The only downside is the silly daily $25 fee for parking. Would love to

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your recent stay at Pan Pacific Mountainside. It is always nice to hear positive feedback from our valued guests. Our Front Desk staff love sharing their insight into the best choices for your needs such as restaurants, tours and activities, so it is great to hear Rik was so helpful with his suggestions.
Parking here in Whistler is very limited, especially space available for overnight parking. This does unfortunately mean that parking is at a premium and can often cost up to $40 per day. We have tried to stay competitive by maintaining the daily parking rate at $25 for both valet and self parking especially since we have so many guests driving here from Canada and the US.
We have several room packages that include complimentary parking as one of the perference choices, in order to provide our guests with different options when they are booking. I am always happy to try and help someone plan out the best package and options for their vacation needs. When planning your next visit to Whistler please feel free to contact me directly so I can assist in selecting the best room rate and package for your family.
