My wife and I were visiting son, daughter-in-law and only granddaughter early in May. Opening week rates beckoned us to play a round, in spite of the fact that the conditions might not be as good as mid summer. The course was in magnificent shape!!! Greens stemped at 9 with a great roll. Fairways almost summer like. Rocky interferences off the fairway frustrating year round!!! The staff were service-oriented and fabulous. Each hole is a challenge, but before even that, each hole is a picture. We saw one bear, but know there are many more...so be careful if you are hunting for a mis-hit in the rough!!! Oh and the weather this week....26 C., not a cloud in the sky!!! Elevation changes galore.....what a day. #18 made par with a penalty stroke....what a finish!!!
