“Peak 2 Peak deal”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

We still think the price is a little steep but are never disappointed once we’ve done it. What really made it worthwhile on this trip was paying just a few dollars more and getting a two day pass as we were in Whistler over the weekend anyway. We were blessed with fantastic weather which makes all the difference too. The only down side once you are up the mountain is that the food is overpriced and the eating areas are not as clean and tidy as they should be. Look for coupons at your hotel to use at the restaurant.

“Kids love it”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

Beautiful views and the kids loved the glass bottom Gondola. We spotted a bear too! There is a restaurant up in the mountain to relax/snack and a few small hikes.

“Glass Bottom Experience”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

The Peak to Peak gondola is a great asset to get you from each mountain. there are 2 glass bottom cabs on the circuit which are listed by number when you enter the Gondola station. Infact the 2 glass bottom cabs are silver so you will also be able to identify them from the other red ones. Its worth waiting for at least once on your visit to see the sights of the vast trees below... although probably not one for those scared of heights!

“Top of the world”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

Not quite Everest but it is wonderful. With the peak 2 peak ticket you also get the Whistler Gondola tickets. i was surprised by how long it took to get to the top - about 25 minutes. Great views on both sides and don't foget to llok below you as crazy mountain bikers race down the steep slopes.
At the top, there is a chairlift that takes you right up to the peak of Whistler mountain (but it was closed when we were there. There are places to eat, hikes (if you're into tthat) an d the views of course.
The peak 2 peak gondola is larger than the whistler gondola but goes straight over the valley between Whistler Mountin and Blackcomb Mountain. i loved this day and was one of the best days of my holiday.
