“Lovely and bountiful Breakfast Buffet”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

The Wildflower sit as the base of Blackcomb ski runs and offers beautiful garden and mountain views. We went for breakfast and were pleased with their buffet of all kinds of lovely breakfast items: smoothies, fresh juices, bread pudding, custom omelets, cinnamon buns, beautiful fresh fruit, blueberry pancakes, muffins and pastries, plus many meat varieties. The sliced ham was especially good and so were the blueberry pancakes. We had lovely time with our guest and were glad we made a reservation to dine there.

“Exquisite Dining Experience”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

We celebrated my mother's 75th birthday breakfast at "The Wildflower." We had made a reservation and were late due to some unforeseen circumstances. From the moment we arrived the restaurant staff were so incredibly gracious. They offered to pay for our parking, gave us a visually exquisite garden table, we received an 'extra' compliments of the chef, and to boot they gave my mom a "75th" birthday plate extraordinare; birthday wishes written in chocolate, mint chocolate covered cupcake and a mouth watering chocolate covered strawberry and truffle. Our server "Peter" was kind, considerate, helpful, and extremely pleasant. This experience "WOWED" our whole party. We will be back and hope to indulge in the "overnight experience" at the Chateau Whistler. Thankyou "Fairmont Chateau Whistler" for keeping your standard of kindness and customer service your goal. You made us all feel truly pampered.

“Dining at the Chateau”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

I had their specialty ... Prime rib. Melt in your mouth delicious. We had the privilege of dining with my friends son who works at the Chateau ..so I am sure we experienced the best of the best. He chose a table that looked into a garden area which was wonderful. The dining area is grand so doesn't feel really cozy when you first come in however our table was perfect. service and food great.

“Breakfast and Brunch are Special”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

We stayed at Chateau Whistler for a weekend and loved it. The WIldflower Restaureant is very pretty and looks out to lovely gardens. There are nice walking trails around and beyond the hotel. A large terrace was tented for a very elegant wedding. Breakfast has great homemade pastries and a wide range of buffet items with good fresh fruit. Service is great- the coffee and juice are served and filled attentively. Great tasting coffee. Quality is way above other brunch and breakfast buffets. For a group it is worth requesting a large table ahead of time or there may be a wait for one. We loved out two breakfast buffets here.

“Up to Fairmont Standards”
Reviewed September 13, 2012 via mobile

We stopped in after doing the evening bear viewing tour with Whistler/Blackcomb. Therefore, we were dressed very casually. To begin they bring you a nicely assorted bread basket. My wife started with the beet salad. For our main courses we had the 8 oz. New York strip and baked salmon, both served with a nice portion of fresh green beans. Both cooked properly and very satisfying. For dessert we went with a slice of the chocolate cake. Cake portion was more than big enough for sharing. Add in a house cocktail and iced tea and you have $115 (CAD) bill. Certainly not a low cost meal, but enjoyable and we would go again. Service was was good. P.S. They do have a extensive menu for those having special dietary needs (e.g. heart healthy, gluten free, vegetarian, etc.)
